Mun goes by so many names here on the internet due to her numerous blogs in several fandoms, but I guess I’m well known in the pokemon fandom for Chivalry, a shiny Silvally OC over at @starcfaether , so just call me Potato I guess idk.

Day & Night: Pokemon Verse: Main:

Crescent was hatched to Lunar the Cresselia on May 17th on the top of Mount Coronet, Spear Pillar. Lunar was a single mother. Her mate, a shiny Ho-oh left for Jhoto after the pair had the egg. It wasn’t that he didn’t care about Lunar or his offspring, but there was no Ho-oh helping to guard the Jhoto region after the original one on guard was caught by a mysterious trainer. He must be there in case of an emergency.

So Lunar was stuck raising the child on her own. However, she had plenty of help. The wild pokemon on the mountain offered to help her raise the egg. After all, it takes a village to raise a child. Lunar accepted their offers gladly, and Crescent grew up with many playmates. She had to be aware of her power, however. one hit could instantly K.O. a younger pokemon. 

For the most part, Lunar and the other adult pokemon taught Crescent how to control her abilities and keep herself safe. But if she looses control of her emotions, she could loose control of her abilities for a brief period of time. However the emotions must be strong for her to loose control of her powers completely.

As Crescent got older, She got more curious about the world around her. What was it like? What kinds of humans and pokemon were out there? Would she be able to see it all one day? Lunar knew that soon her baby girl would have to leave the nest, and on that day; she gifted her daughter with something that she had received in the faraway Hoenn Region. A Shell Bell. Lunar explained that she used to be a trainer’s pokemon long ago, and her held item was that Shell Bell. Her trainer gifted it to her when they parted, and now she was giving the item to Crescent so she would never forget her family.

The first place Crescent went to visit was Jhoto to see her father. Solar was overjoyed to see her the first time they met, and even shed tears over how beautiful she was. He wished he was able to see her grow up and leave the nest with her mother, but his duty to the Original One was very important. Yes, even more important than his own family.

Crescent never blamed him for not visiting once, as she understood that the duties to the Original One must be fulfilled. Lest the entire pokemon world fall into chaos. Some Legendaries like Ho-oh were needed to keep balance in the world for all. Crescent was just happy to meet him.

But her itch to see the entire world was not satisfied, and Solar knew the feeling. The feeling that you must see the whole world outside the nest. It was in a way, a coming of age ceremony held by the legendaries of this world. You must see the world with your own eyes and meet it’s inhabitants before you can make good decisions for it.

He attached one of his feathers to the Shell Bell, so his daughter would have a piece of both parents as she traveled the world. A few days later, Crescent left to see the world with her own eyes.

please don’t infomod either! infomodding for those who don’t know is when your character knows things about another character that they shouldn’t. it may be in my about page, but those are for the muns to see and understand. unless our characters already have an established relationship, do not assume your character knows anything about Crescent, thank you!

mun has a life outside or tumblr too! if i do not respond immediately to any threads please do not pester me. start reminding me a few days after your initial reply. i may have forgotten about it, or tumblr might have not notified me. i may also be working on it, but it is taking me a bit.

 It's feathers give both happiness and pleasant dreams to any who bears it. It glows in brilliant colors under the moonlight, leaving a rainbow behind it that sparkles in the night.

Personality: 

Crescent is a shy and timid hybrid, preferring to avoid humans for the most part, except she always appears before human children. She loves to play with and protect human children. While she does mostly avoid adults, some do happen to catch her attention. Three adults that have caught her interest are Red, Blue(Green in Japan) and Silver. She is not sure how to approach said humans however. Especially Silver. However she is always very friendly and sociable around other pokemon, always willing to help them if they need anything. This includes pokemon belonging to trainers.
