Levi nodded, rubbing his chin as the two talked… before giving them a grin.

“Well, that simply won’t do. I’ll see what I can figure out and bring it over; I’ve got some cookware at home that’ll work perfectly for that… and it’s no trouble at all. I like seeing folks happy. Seems like as of late that’s a bit harder to come by, so I want to do my part where I can.”

He bowed his head slightly, before lifting it again and giving hugs to the two. “I’ll swing by in the next few days or so. Stay overnight at the island after dinner. Sound good?”

The two Pokemon gave a nod in reply, with Kevlar’s tail giving another delighted slap against the earth, “We’ll be looking forward to it, Levi. We haven’t had much time to touch base with our other allies in this war, so I think this will be beneficial to everyone.”

“I agree.. We’ve all been far too bust fighting back those strange creatures and protecting the mainlands.. It would be nice to actually sit down and speak with someone else who has been on the frontlines of this whole thing.” He nodded, feeling more at ease with the promise of company soon.

“Exeggutor Island, eh? That’s not too far from where I live; that’ll make it a lot easier. I appreciate the offer, but I insist; let me treat you. I love cooking for folks.”

He gave the two a bright smile, giving the Rhydon a friendly squeeze around the shoulders. “What kinda food do you guys like?”

“Exeggutor Island was the best place for us to hide. I’m the only Pokemon among us who isn’t a shiny variant, so wherever we travel to, we need to be cautious of where we are, you know?” As for food..

“Well.. this might not surprise you, but we haven’t had much experience as far as food made for Pokemon goes. We’re all wild, so we usually collect berries and other fresh foods we find. Sometimes Sheela will bring in something good, but we don’t usually know where she gets it from.”

“Aww. That’s sweet. Thanks, guys; I think I’ll take you up on that. I’ll bring some food with me and somethin’ from home that you might like to drink. Sound good?”

“That sounds perfect to us, Levi. We’d be happy to have your company,” The Rhydon chuckles, giving his tail a happy slap against the earth. It truly was nice to know this group had such large connections, all sharing the same goal.. Which so happened to align with theirs as well.

"Cheers. I'll drink to that, boys."

“You’re always welcome to join us at the table any time, Levi.”

“I’m relieved the topics from earlier are gone..”

      [ No matter the seas either; I wish I had wings to envelop you in, Leona. ] RU adds, leaving a little kiss on the side of her beak, before settling down by her side, watching the horizon of crashing waves.

“Anything that involves you piques my interests, Azius. No matter what the topic may be,” her voice mused, as she returned the soft affections with kisses of her own, taking special care to preen any of his stray feathers.

“Ever the gentleman, no matter the storm.. How I’ve missed you,” With a stretch, the Pidgeot settles in beside him, wiggling her way into the perfect place to rest.

“Man, all I ever ran from were my own problems I caused.” She…is serious huh, well.

“Sangir has been nagging me a bit more often lately. Should probably follow that advice huh?” She laughs, half heartedly as she stretches, her form shimmering as feathers became exposed, her features changing back.

She tosses the iron tongs back into the water, stretching her wings

“Things should be fine for a few minutes, hopefully this helps. Thanks, Leona.”

“My dearest, the pleasure is truly all my own,” the Pidgeot nodded with a delighted chuckle, glad to know the other would join her so quickly. She was prepared for quite a bit of fuss, but Scarlet seemed about ready soon enough.

With another beat of her wings she playfully hopped, “Shall we be off? The skies above the Exeggutor Island are always quite warm and fresh, why don’t we have a bit of fun there. We could even dive for some fish.”

“I really appreciate that, but I think I’m just starting to hit the stress limit, haha. A bunch of big and small issues are piling up pretty much, feel like I’m about to have a breakdown if something minor goes wrong.” She says, offering the fellow bird a grateful smile.

“Too much on my plate, too little time to sort through them all, haven’t been able to afford a day long break in a hot minute. Feel like I should soon though but I’m just worried that I won’t be able to fully use that day to relax and chill out.”

She does have some good incense to smoke though. That at least gives her a bit of reprieve.

“I have certainly been there before, my dear. A life of running from poachers has certainly taught me a thing or two of how to manage my time,” she mused, stretching out her wings and shaking them out some. 

“Why not take a moment, and stretch out your wings? Some time in the open sky to collect your thoughts, even if only for a few minutes at best, can be certainly invaluable to you in such a pinch. You have other allies at your side who I assume can hold the reigns for you to give yourself that much, and I would even go as far as to say they may wish for you to do that, as they too are concerned.” The Pidgeot observed her for a moment, smiling warmly.
