i. THE DEAD COME KNOCKING.

JUST SOME LATE NIGHT DIVERGENT POINTS I’D LIKE TO SHED LIGHT ON (these are undeveloped, but more info will be added later):

Rick and Jessie never happened. Rick did, however, interfere with her husband’s domestic abuse because that’s what he does, protect people. 

In season 2, given Lori and Rick’s ALREADY rocky and failing relationship, Rick began to lose the ‘romantic’ feelings. The reality of Lori’s preference (not her “love”, as I’m not saying if she did or did not love him) towards Shane hit Rick hard, and so he disconnected completely from Lori as seen in the beginning of season 3. Moving on to Lori’s death, Rick still mourned her loss as in canon, terribly. His heart was broken as his initial love for her didn’t simply die, but the relationship just didn’t feel like it used to anymore. He still loved Lori, just in a different way. I mean, he still carries their wedding ring and they created a beautiful son together. How could he not?

especially when you consider they built the whole passing things on to carl thing, and carl /is/ the central character of the comics and glimple said & much & to know he got killed off for some petty industry drama is nonsense
