tired of all your colors

 ❛ SO you like to create clothes? ❜ chic tried to catch up with her explanation while also looking down at her sketchbook, a slight nod of his head just to let her know he was listening. ❛  so you don’t do it because you like it? oh sure, i always thought making clothes and being a designer must be a pain in the ass.  ❜

Emily hears what the girl said the her she could not help but laugh. “Yeah it’s very bad for you but it makes you feel good so that’s the dilemma here what’s your name?”

STEVE’S brows raise at the other’s words, shaking his head slightly as he muses out a laugh.    ❛ okay man no need to rub it in , but you might want to make yourself look —- you know a little smarter if you wanna get into a casino, like —- a suit, and a hat —- or maybe not a hat they’ll probably think you’re part of a gang or some shit.  ❜  

        WITH A grin spread from ear to ear , it’s obvious that caden is quite excited by the news he has just heard. in a little over a month , he’ll be able to watch ready player one on the big screen. not only has he never been to an actual movie theater before , but the ernest cline book is one of his favorites. back on the compound , he read the science fiction story numerous times & so he can’t wait to see it come to life. ❝  look at this ,  ❞ he starts , pointing at the poster that confused him before someone had explained it moments ago. he turns to the woman next to him before he continues , ❝  i’m just now finding out about this. isn’t that sad ? i have to go see it.  ❞ after the brief ramble , he drops his hand only to bring the other one behind his head. he rubs at his neck sheepishly. ❝  sorry , i got a bit hyped up there.  ❞   for ( @tiiigrcss )

CHIC was on the way to the bakery, but since the weather was ( surprisingly ) nice  and stable for once, he decided to take the long way there. His tracks however stopped upon hearing the voice behind him, he turned his head, and looked around just making sure the voice was indeed being directed towards him.  ❛ uh, sure. ❜ he replied instantly, bending to pick the pencil by his feet, then turning to return it to the other, curiosity piquing.  ❛ you like to draw? ❜

ARCHED BROWS as the raven haired female heard the loud noise coming from behind her, she took the time to try to understand what could possibly be going on with the pink haired girl, her eyes widened as she heard her speak, shaking her head slightly, she decided it was now a good time to approach her. ❛ are you okay? ❜

Emily would roll up a spliff she puts in her mouth trying to found her lighter once she can’t found it. she starts to look around to see if anyone is around. “Does anyone have a lighter i can use?”  

       FEELING EMBARRASSED by her moment of longing , lavagirl quickly drops her eyes down to the sidewalk. she is outside of a local ice cream shoppe & was contemplating whether she should risk trying to eat the cool treat. she’s always wondered what it would taste like , knowing only that it’s typically quite sweet & smooth & ultimately just really , really good. she wanted to figure that out for herself but knows that it’s likely not possible. even with her slightly dulled powers here & her acquired self control , it’ll be hard to avoid melting a couple scoops of ice cream immediately with her proximity. so she just stood , mentally debating with herself until she had caught the eye of a boy nearby. that’s what initially triggered her embarrassment , as she assumed he’s judging her for staring blankly at a door. as her eyes fall , she steps away from the entrance of the shoppe. ❝  i’m sorry.  ❞   for ( @poseidcnson )

Beth trailed her fingertips across the spines of several music books, eyes scanning for a title. She was determined to continue her original plan of becoming a recording artist, before… Well, just from before. She knew she had an awfully long time before she could even hope to catch up, as she’s been very much out of reality for the past eight years or so. She assumed that studying up on the subject, and maybe finding several books filled with sheet music would help. “Hi,” She tried to greet just as happily, but years of finely tuned instincts told her this boy wasn’t to be trusted, that there was something incredibly off about him. “Yeah, I was lookin’ for some sheet music notebooks? If you have ‘em, but if not maybe a book on country music history?” She grimaced slightly, understanding just how strange her requests were. 

        IT TURNS out that roaming around an unfamiliar city is totally exhausting. it’s not something caden had planned to do , but apparently turning right down the street from his workplace hadn’t been the correct thing to do. seemingly a bit stubborn today , the blond refused to backtrack as he was determined to find his way home from there instead - he quickly realized that had been an even worse decision. wandering the streets , he let hours pass by before giving up , plopping down on a park bench & holding his head in defeat. at the sound of approaching footsteps , he straightens up a bit. ❝  hi , sorry ,  ❞ he starts. ❝  can you help me get back home ?  ❞ he lets out a large yawn & rests his head on the backrest of the seat , allowing his eyelids to droop close as though he’s now resting. without reopening them ( since he’s just so damn tired at this point ) , he rattles off the name of his apartment building. ❝  i guess i don’t know where i’m at.  ❞

        TENDRILS FALLING from atop lavagirl’s head quickly morph into flames , the bright wisps subtle enough to blend in well with her already fiery pink locks - most passersby likely wouldn’t notice a difference. the blaze calms after a short moment & she storms forward in search of the suspect. the teen had left her backpack outside of the small convenience shop she frequented ( bags like hers weren’t allowed in order to reduce incidents of stealing ) & before she had entered , she had caught the eye of an older woman. when lavagirl returned , her bag was emptied of its contents & she’s sure it was the stranger from before that was behind it. ❝  where did she go ?  ❞ she snaps furiously at a ( probably confused ) bystander. ❝  i know it was her.  ❞   for ( @thehctone )

        WITH THE tip of his tongue sticking out ever so slightly , dash focuses on dutifully rubbing a coin across the scratch off ticket that he just purchased. after a moment , he brings the card up closer to his face , blue eyes scanning across the symbols & numbers that were revealed. ❝  yes !  ❞ he exclaims loudly , punching a fist in the air to express his glee. ❝  a hundred bucks !  ❞ he stuffs the small paper into his pocket with the intention of exchanging it for his cash later. a ping emits from his cell just then & he brings it out to read a text that happens to be informing of his win from a local bakery’s contest. ❝  and free cupcakes for a year ?! man , this is great.  ❞ he runs a hand through blond hair before turning to the other. ❝  think i’d be able to get into a casino ? i’m feeling like today’s my lucky day & i’m not really ready for all of this to end just yet.  ❞
