Idk if this happened to anyone else but when tjoc came out i thought it was an official fnaf game for several months (i dont even remember when or how I learned it wasn't, ngl) but for some reason this didn't apply to fnac or anything else fanmade that dropped early during clickteam era, I think i just saw the production quality and just assumed it couldn't be a fangame??
