Idk if this happened to anyone else but when tjoc came out i thought it was an official fnaf game for several months (i dont even remember when or how I learned it wasn't, ngl) but for some reason this didn't apply to fnac or anything else fanmade that dropped early during clickteam era, I think i just saw the production quality and just assumed it couldn't be a fangame?? Like I didn't think someone who WASNT scott cawthon could make this kind of thing because I had zero concept of how indie games worked. I remember being really mesmerized by the visuals and shocked that there was VO so I literally just went with the narrative that it was real 💔

I had a dream last night that i somehow played the entirely of chapter 5 of deltarune without running into an enemy that everyone hated so much that they refunded the game. apparently they were these orange box enemies that looked kind of like the lucky block, that moved slowly towards you and if you ran into them like any other enemy, it would summon like 5 completely random enemies from the game to attack you all at once and it was so cracked that it would basically instakill you
