fawn was part of the crowd who were taking it upon themselves to roast some chestnuts. hearing anastasia's swearing, fawn turned and offered hers as a replacement "here, take these"

normally walking on sunshine, travis was too busy overthinking sending a text message to notice her skipping down the street. if he'd looked up, he might have been able to better avoid the almost-collision. this must have been the universe's way of telling him to 'wait'.

thankfully she had managed to avoid knocking his phone out of his hand. fawn let out a laugh at him, feeling shy all of a sudden. "i'm all about keeping the peace. please, feel free to take as many cookies as you'd like" she offered.

"it was very convincing at the time," he replied before letting out a laugh. "recent reports would suggest that i've become way too soft in my old age. i think i'm being taken advantage of."

"nothing wrong with being a softie" she smiled down at him "the world's harsh enough, a little kindness goes a long way"

"i am, i am doing plumbing at a party," travis replied from under the sink, wondering just what had become of his life. if his past self could only see him now, huh? "i was assured it was a life or death situation." he took the wrench back under there and started messing around again before pausing--

if she wasn't confused before, she definitely was now. why would he of all people be working on plumbing at a party. "and you believe that?"

fawn had heard it was lilo's birthday and was dropping off a present to her when she came across the wild party. she wandered through the home to the kitchen and hid her present in a cupboard for lilo to find later. "it's lilo's birthday"

"fawn-," stasia started before forgetting how you finished a sentence like that. she should have expected to see her here. in fact, given another hour, stas probably would have drunk texted her herself. "right, lilo's birthday. i-- can i get you a drink?"

"hi stas" she greeted, giving a wave of her hand. it wasn't like she didn't expect to see basically the whole younger generation of redwood hollow at this party. people couldn't help themselves when a party was mentioned. "umm...yeah sure, i guess."
