The cultural appropriation squad always comes for the small hobbyists, never for the big ones who make stuff people buy. Some kid mistakes a hanfu for Korean and people come for her liver, but big name weebs like Rakeru Sensei get to make mocking Japanese language their fucking brand. Guess cultural appropriation is only problematic when the culprit doesn’t benefit you.

It’s strange that one of the reasons people don’t want to support recasting is because the companies are sweatshops, but those exact people still buy bjd clothes, human clothes, ect from websites like aliexpress, amazon, ect. You guys DO know those things come from sweatshops aswell? Almost every other point makes sense but when someone brings up that recasting companies are sweatshops but in the same breath go “Hehe getting 10$ bjd shoes on Aliexpress ;)” it’s hard to take you seriously.

What do people, buyers or other, hope to achieve by sending “????”? As for buyers, if you paid for untracked shipping, any loss or delays are not the seller’s responsibility, and sending a daily “????” or after the seller didn’t respond within the hour or during the night (we have lives!?), is just harassment and won’t magically solve an issue. When did adults decide that “????” is a valid form of communication, anyway? I just had to issue an unrequested refund and accept a total loss just so I could block her incessant “???” she sent as if that would magically make me know what to do about the apparent shipment loss (item value: $8). All I could do was tell her “I’m so sorry, I’m afraid there’s nothing I can do”, but the “????” kept coming.
