Dear History side of tumblr, I’ve been trying to do some research into the life and children of Lady Bathory, the bloody countess. I found some interesting reading which said one of her children (Miklós) was left out of her will. I also can’t find much to tell me about the date of death or even the year of death for several of her children. I know that it’s kind of an of the time thing where records weren’t kept perfectly, but I was wondering if any of you lovely people know where I can find a copy or even just a little bit of information about the contents of her will and the lives of her children. If anyone has any sources about Lady Bathory herself that would be great too. Any help appreciated I’ve got some theories but need to know more on these topics.
