  As the cold weather crept in and warm summer nights came to an end, it was obvious that Fall was here in full swing!

Today, I want to talk about all the must-haves for Fall. Here we have…pumpkin spice lattes, fall scented candles, and big fleece blankets. What do we really need when Fall sets in, though? New. Clothes. As if anyone needed a reason to go shopping…

Although, I’ll miss the bright looks and fun colors of Summer, I am thrilled about Fall fashion! Fall being one of the most versatile seasons allows me to have creative looks with transitional pieces.

Fall is one of the seasons you want to make sure you have quality, new pieces. Where better to shop for your favorite Fall items than Banana Republic?

September is here, and I can finally feel the crisp fall weather in the air, especially in the mornings. I can’t wait to start sippin’ on pumpkin spice lattes, and most importantly, start dressing for autumn!

  The new collaboration between INC International Concepts and Anna Sui have the best wardrobe staples for this fall pieces for every girls closet. They are edgy and chic, and I would say amazing transitional pieces for summer to fall. She incorporated the floral embroidery craze into some items, like this leather jacket I wore while apartment shopping, turning heads on the streets of Chicago. We all know leather jackets are a fall staple, but why not put a fun spin on it? I’ll be wearing this moto often now that I know how attention-catching it is. I decided to pair it with the cutest pair of maroon velvet slingbacks. Maroon is a popular color for this time of year and the gold heel adds a fun twist to it. I can wear these out at night but also during the day. Plus they have a thick heel, which makes them easy to walk in.

  The other outfit I’m sporting above is a layered bohemian styled suede jacket, that is INSANELY soft. It’s so comfy, I didn’t want to take it off. I paired it with some classic black jeans from the same collection, which everybody should have a pair of. However, this jacket could be worn with a mini skirt, like this one from Anna Sui x INC and some over the knee boots for a more nighttime feel. OTK boots are favorite style of shoes for Fall, because they can be worn SOOO many different ways. These beige booties were a great addition to my shoe closet as well and I like the neutral color making them easy to pair. This fun clutch has a chain that can also serve as a crossbody. I love that it’s so loud because is really pops and brightens up this look. So now that I’ve shared my favs for this coming fall. What are some of your favorite fall trends?

  Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer to the fullest. As I have mentioned before, this Summer I have been all about the embroidery and patch work. In today’s post, I am featuring an INC International Concepts denim jacket and jeans, both with floral embroidery. Now, the nice thing is you can wear these as separates or together for that WOW factor. I took this jacket with me to California for my bachelorette party and it was the perfect travel companion. It also works as a great transitional piece, even though we are still in the middle of summer it seems like fall is kind of here.

Pair them with literally anything and they will fit right in. Also, did I mention that they are super comfy and very easy to walk in?!

How adorable is this off-the-shoulder top with bell sleeves?? I love a good OTS piece and this was my #1 this Summer. I’m pretty positive once this post goes live, I’ll be getting a call from my sister to borrow it. Haha! The bright white makes it easy to pair and it’s also versatile and can be worn either tucked in or out. Not to mention, it also comes in black!

I have a new everyday bag and it’s this crossbody bucket bag from INC International Concepts. I love love love bucket bags; they are different and so roomy. The nice thing about this one is that it’s also a cross body! I used to only wear cross body bags because they are so simple and easy to wear. This black bucket bag also has subtle embroidery details on the bottom which is very pretty! This bag looks small but can fit my gym clothes, my camera, my wallet, my lipstick, lotion, sunglasses, a phone charger and probably a couple of other things! So spacious!

Last but not least, this pair of embroidered jeans that I paired with a classic black top, both from INC International Concepts, was so fun to wear. They are clearly not your ordinary boring pair. They have personality and are so fun to dress up or down. I decided to get a little fancy with my accessories with this look. First by adding a statement necklace that totally made a statement. Then, I added these delicate, yet edgy earrings and I LOVE them. They will be used a lot going forward. Lastly, this clutch was so pretty! It has gold toned hardware and pearl/ rhinestone embellishment. I can so easily pair these with Indian clothes too, so I’m very happy to add this to my collection. As I approach more and more wedding festivities, I know I’ll be putting this fancy little clutch to use. When it comes down to seasons, I think Summer is the best for exploring new styles and trends. I may be biased because my birthday is in the Summer, but you can sport so many different looks to accommodate for the weather. I am wearing a floral embroidered jumpsuit from INC International Concepts and it was such an easy piece to throw on and head out the door. The nice thing about jumpsuits is that it saves us the time to think about what top is going to match with the bottom. It’s so wearable and light-weight, definitely not your ordinary jumpsuit. I wore it for a day full of shopping and then threw on some heels and wore it out at night. I got creative with this piece and wrapped the halter strings around my neck to make a choker. The strings are long enough to switch it up!

  The next look I’m wearing is a solid black cold shoulder top paired with some animal print shorts. How fun, am I right?! The top is a must for everyone. I think if you’re not too much of a fan of the off-the-shoulder trend, the cold shoulder trend is just for you. Cold shoulder gives you just enough shoulder exposure without feeling like you’re showing too much. The printed shorts are available in other colors and prints. The fit is also super comfortable and not too tight.

  Look numero tres, some classic boyfriend patchwork jeans with classic black pumps. My favorite part about this look is the Rhinestone embossed grey denim jacket. I just love this item so much. Everything pairs perfectly with this jacket: shorts, skirts, dresses, jeans, you name it. If you’ve already got enough denim jackets in your closet, it is time to switch it up for something different. I tend to get cold no matter where I am or what time of year, and I ALWAYS need to take a light jacket with me just in case. This one is perfect for just that. I’ve told you guys about my current obsession with slides, haven’t I? How cute are these dragonfly detailed slides? On my last trip to California, I wore them for majority of the trip and they were so easy to walk in!

Since we are approaching the warmer months of the year, I thought it would be a great idea to round up a few printed and perfect for Summer options. Now the nice thing about INC International Concepts clothing is that it can be worn in so many different ways! Take this off –the-shoulder printed top for instance. I’ve paired it with a classic pair of boot leg cut patchwork jeans. Because of its versatility, it can be paired with a high waisted pair of shorts or even a cute skirt! Now I would stay with solid pieces for the bottoms only because mixing prints can go wrong easily, unless done right. This OTS top was incredibly comfortable and so easy to wear. I hate it when off-the-shoulder tops don’t actually stay off-the-shoulder, do you know what I mean? This one in particular keeps its form and is made of the softest material, making it perfect for hot days!

Secondly, I am sporting a cool printed top in blue and white. With Fourth of July around the corner, this look would be so festive and ideal for the long-weekend BBQ parties! Luckily, it’s also available in red and white, even more perfect for the occasion!

One thing I realized over the years is having a pair of classic heels in my shoe closet. The most widely used colors in my opinion are black and nude. When in doubt, trust me you will result to at least one of these two colors; it’s a given. I’ve found the perfect classic pointy toe pumps in black AND nude from INC, and they won’t put a dent in your wallet. Now isn’t that what we all want? What’s even better is that they are so wearable and comfy! Upon arrival, we were welcomed with the most friendly staff and wonderful experience. The lobby is bright with large pane windows with decor that is both contemporary and chic. Now let me say that my fiance travels regularly for work and ALWAYS stays in Marriott properties. Even he was impressed with the layout and friendly staff, and we had just walked in!

As we approached our room, we passed through hallways covered in beautiful art. The view from our room was spectacular and watching the sunset and sunrise every morning was a beautiful sight to see. The rooms were modern and fresh, not too congested, and were technologically advanced. Did I mention there was a full length mirror behind the door? Our bathroom had a dark and rich wood colored sliding door, which I absolutely loved! The windows were tall to let in just enough sunlight, but also contained blackout curtains to accompany the comfy beds. If given the opportunity, I could lay in them all day!

EnoVino was the top floor restaurant with panoramic 180-degree views of downtown. Not only was the food insanely delicious, but the staff was super attentive and knowledgeable. At the time we checked in, the hotel had only been open for 8 days, but the restaurant was PACKED. I mean I don’t blame the locals, this was the place to be and the layout of the restaurant was just perfect. Spacious but intimate, there was an accessible divide between the bar and the actual restaurant. I still dream about the hanger steak from Thursday night’s dinner; that’s how amazing it was (pictured above). This was where we went for morning breakfast as well, which had a great spread to include meats and cheeses, and any type of espresso/coffee/latte you could think of! What really got us (Malick more than me), were the croissants and Nutella. Yes, we are total suckers for a good hearty breakfast and AC Hotel has you covered!

Next time we are in the mood for a quick road trip to get away from home, we will definitely consider Madison, but more importantly the AC Hotel in downtown. Our trip was cut short due to me being a new auntie to my niece being born, but all the more reason for another trip down to Madison. Marriott is always the preferred hotel brand for my fiance and myself, but because of how pleasant the trip was, AC Hotels and their brand is now at the top of our list for choice of hotel specifically. With all the other cities that AC Hotels are now in, we better get started traveling soon :)!

If you haven’t hopped on this band wagon yet, what are you waiting for? Embroidery is so in right now. It is the biggest trend this season, I swear. I’ve been seeing it on anything AND everything from tops, dresses, jackets, shorts, pants, shoes…I could go on forever. I am sporting not one, but two looks with floral embroidery. Could these be any more perfect for the warm weather? The first white off-the-shoulder top is from Shein and is so different with high slits on the sides and the front. On hot days it allows for an extra breeze! The sporty Romwe Floral Embroidery Sweatshirt is perfect for those casual chilly Summer days and nights. When you just want to throw something on and run out the door, but still look the part for the season, this piece is perfect.

As soon as I wore this little number, I got so many compliments and I could definitely see why. I’m also wearing some classic frayed grey shorts from Romwe. This week was kind of slow, wouldn’t you say? Nonetheless, I am in a great mood. This is probably because I woke up earlier than usual and I always feel so accomplished on days I wake up early. Who else feels this way?

Do you know what the best part about Spring is? Finally having dress weather and wedding season! I don’t know if I’m just biased because I’m planning my own wedding but I’ve always loved weddings! Today’s post is about what to wear for wedding season! I have styled not one, not two, but three dresses for you all and I am attaching other great options below! The nice thing about weddings is that you can switch up your wardrobe for them based on whether they’re in the daytime or nighttime. For a day wedding, you want to stay fun and flirty, while switching it up for something more formal, sexy, yet tasteful for the evening.

For a daytime occasion, I would go for a more flowy dress with either a print or a fun pop of color. For the evening, I would gear more towards a midi-length option. Pictured above I am wearing the Tobi Everlasting Lace Shift Dress, which is a great day time and evening option. The Tobi Michelle Low Back Shift Dress is ideal for Spring and Summer because of its floral print, and Tobi Everlasting Lace Shift Dress offers pretty and delicate detailing. Hi Everyone,

How many of us are guilty of using straighteners and/or curling irons on a regular basis? I know I definitely am! I have noticed that the heat definitely took a toll on my hair, causing my ends to be dry and brittle. If you’re a fan of coloring your hair like me, you know that the chemicals cause dullness.
