In fact, one of my favorite new brand crushes this year has been Algenist. . The original bio-science brand is constantly innovating by creating new ways to address old problems — like dull skin and hyperpigmentation. That means introducing new products and even inventing new ingredients.  . Two personal faves are the brand’s new Blue Algae Vitamin C Skinclarity Brightening Serum and the Algae Niacinamide Moisture Veil — one of the best Niacinamide serums for oily and blemish-prone skin. . While Algenist’s Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream isn’t as wildly innovative as those, it’s a wonderful moisturizer for dry skin — and especially in the colder months. It has this surprisingly thick-whipped texture that seems like it needs a dessert spoon to get out of the jar. . With its higher concentrations of vegan collagen, ceramides and non-fragrant plant oils like Shea Butter, the formula is focused on skin replenishment. It’s a whole lot of goodness for dry skin in the low humidity air of the fall and winter months. I love its powerful replenishment benefits and the fact that as rich as it is, it melts right in. . WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO EYE CREAM FOR SPRING? _______________________________________________ If you haven’t tried anything from Révive (or haven’t heard of it!), this is my first foray into the brand’s extensive range of high-science, luxury skincare, too. You likely know I’m not a fan of expensive skin care, but I am a fan of well-formulated skin care no matter the price. The Révive Intensité Complete Anti-Aging Eye Serum is quite a nice formulation. With a silky serum texture, it’s the lightest of my new collection of eye cream discoveries. Like the other selections, it’s loaded with anti-aging actives — from peptides to antioxidant botanicals, vitamins and plant oils. But what makes Révive’s Intensité Complete Anti-Aging Eye Serum unique is its ability to function really well as an under-eye concealer to camouflage the look of dark circles. Designed by a plastic surgeon, Intensité Complete Anti-Aging Eye Serum feels like something you’d get the dermatologist’s office. And pay good money for. I’m in love with the texture and its power-brightening effect most. There’s a relatively high level of both mica and Titanium Dioxide that combine to deliver the eye serum’s benefit as an effective under-eye concealer — a combination that I haven’t come across much, if at all.
