like for real though whenever I see anxiety posts it’s along the lines of being embarrassed or thinking ppl hate you. Like not that those aren’t things that social anxiety causes but let’s talk about the ugly more severe side of anxiety which is generalized or panic disorder. Let’s talk about being afraid to die while literally laying in your own bed. Let’s talk about hoarding things because it makes you anxious to let anything go so your house and/or room basically becomes a trash can. Let’s talk about being completely okay one minute and then panicking the next. Let’s talk about being afraid to go outside because if you go outside something bad will happen so you rot in bed all day because anxiety indoors is better than outdoors. Let’s talk about being anxious about eating because if you eat something horrible will happen to you. Let’s talk about panicking over going grocery shopping, getting jobs, moving out, driving. Let’s talk about that sudden drop in your stomach when you’re trying not to be anxious. Let’s talk about the numbness you start to feel in your head because you think you’re going crazy and that specific thought makes you actually feel like your brain is going to do something that you don’t want it to do. Really tho let’s talk, I have plenty more examples of my day to day life
