I think it’s time to close FantrollsForDummies. I’ve had this blog for over six years - all through high school and most of my way through college - and its definitely made an impact on me in terms of my perspective on art and creativity. I hope along the way I encouraged you all to create without bounds and with positive motivation, and I hope you all continue to create characters and stories, wherever your inspiration will lead you.

Tag explanation: It relates to her god tier and that’s about it. Clasher could also relate to how she will fight people about pretty much anything others disagree with her on

I think you should relate this more to interests. Remember, trolls choose their tags! It should make sense in a non-meta way, too.

Name: Megtan Eridae

Namesake: Eridae is a shortened form of Viperidae which is the scientific name for vipers which are snakes. Megtan is the letters of the word magenta rearranged minus an A to keep it to a 6/6 format. Magenta fit better than the letters of fuchsia and it’s supposed to relate to her blood colour.

Sounds ok! I think there is probably better sources out there for the first name but Terezi was named Pyrope for its color so you should be fine

Age: 7ish, a little over 15 human years

Gender: female

Blood: fuchsia, #9C2276 (I know it doesn’t exactly match the guide but it’s close enough I think)

It might be a tad bright but it’s fine!

Powers and How they work: None

Theme and Symbol: Her theme is snakes. She wears a hoodie for the hooded snakes exist. She was also kind of Arbok themed (the pokemon) which is why she wears a purple hoodie. Her sign is the Pilo sign from extended zodiac.

Specibus and Examples: Bladekind. They’re throwing knives, supposed to mimic snake fangs

Fetch modus: Ball modus. She throws balls at things and the item is stored there. Kind of like a pokeball.

That’s a lot of replacements. It might make stuff hard to read? Maybe cut it down a bit.

Interests: She likes roleplaying online, but never took interest in FLARPing. Something about disliking the killing part of it. Giving people relationship advice, learning things about others, showing she’s superior. She also knows a lot about human terms. She really likes Alternia and wishes she lived there instead. She appreciates physical fitness

I don’t think FLARP would exist on Earth C but maybe I’m wrong. I think she needs more ! Dive into the interests, have fun. Remember, trolls are a pretty independent species, without parents, etc (I assume that remains the same culturally due to the presence of lusii). What would she do if there were no rules?

Dislikes: Lower bloods (Anything jade and below with the exception of her Moirail), specifically dislikes psychics, killing things, the way the current troll kingdom functions

Basic personality: Stays true to her values and doesn’t like them tested. Can and will fight others which due to having fuchsia blood strength, probably isn’t a good idea. Likes to spend time alone. Megtan likes keeping track of other people’s actions and writing them down too. Wants to protect her moirail. She’s good at figuring things out when it comes to other trolls and dislikes when others are slower to catch on to things she understands easily. Argues with the trolls she willingly associates with less than those she doesn’t, but things can still get passive aggressive.

Hemoloyalty: really strict to it, bitter it doesn’t exist officially on Earth C

Lusus: It would be a sea serpent, but I don’t think lusus exist there

Hive: A mansion that is half submerged underwater. It is only accessible by travelling to a small island 200m away from the mainland

Ancestor and Story: The Duchess. The only other known fuchsia blood on Earth C. Don’t have much else for this. Suggestions welcome

Maybe her ancestor had a similar viewpoint as her, and was around at the start of Earth C? Hmmm!!!

She doesn’t seem like a Knight to me. Definitely more of a Prince or Thief.

Other info

She probably wouldn’t survive long on Alternia due to her aversion to killing things. Being a fuchsia blood means she would have to do it at one point and she probably wouldn’t be able to go through with it. Even if she would rather live there, that might not be the best idea for her.

Keeps a diary

One of the reasons she only associates with high bloods is due to life span. She doesn’t like interacting with others that much, and she would rather make a group she can stick with for longer. To her, low bloods die too quickly, and even though she’ll be outliving all of her friends, at least they’ll be there for a larger portion of her life.

Wow... I think you should dive into that concept more 

She knows her quirk can be harder to understand

(I think that’s it. I’ve been on and off writing a story involving her and a bunch of other characters which means she’ll probably develop more as a character whenever I continue writing stuff involving her)
