Today I've start to have classes on Coursera: Programming Languages by the university of Washington.

It's really tough for me to understand the lessons by watching the videos. However, with the captions of the videos, it gets easier. And it do amazed me that the video of coursera are hosted by Netease(for China I guess).

Today I've finished section zero which does not contain lots of contents.

安装ML以及Emacs相关内容。

SML

课程中使用的是SML/NJ，即Standard ML of New Jersey.

迄今为止SML的版本为110.77，不同平台的发行版可以在此下载: smlnj.org

默认的pkg安装为止为/usr/local/smlnj/bin/sml，可以把这个路径放到bash或者zsh的PATH中，然后就可以通过在终端中输入sml使用SML的REPL了。

Emacs

Emacs 可以在gnu.org下载。话说终于可以有机会重拾Emacs了，大二至大三的很长一段时间都标榜自己是Emacs党呢。

Emacs的SML Mode可以通过Emacs的package-list进行安装: M-x package-list，然后找到SML Mode，点击安装即可。

There's a thought in my mind for a quite long time, social network seems making people closer. However, after using different social network products for years, I've realized that social networks are efficient approaches for strangers but not for friends.

In my opinion, there must be lots of issues discussing the disadvantages about social network.

Here's the list I'm saying goodbye to this time:

Friends Circle by wechat (toooo many useless information)

Weibo (for I'm only following famous coders and engineers)

Last week, I released Weekly on GitHub and planned to maintain it after that.

Weekly is a simple blog-like site using Jekyll and hosted on GitHub. Every week I'll collect some useful information about web, iOS and many other different tech fields.
