What does it mean when people say "OT9" "OT12" "OT7" when they're talking about kpop groups?

“OT” stands for One True. When people talk about groups like SNSD and say OT9 or EXO and OT12, they’re talking about the original number of members in the group. Suju was one of the first groups I saw people use OT15 vs. OT13 (meaning they didn’t consider Henry and Zhou Mi a part of the group). The same goes for if someone was talking about SNSD and said they were OT8, which essentially means (to me) that they have written off Jessica since her departure and don’t support her. Same with EXO and OT9, meaning they don’t support Tao, Kris and Luhan since they left.
