my brain: do you ever think about the parallels between linus and cormag. like how much they loved and looked up to their older brother, and the sheer ability to reasonably think about a situation being tossed aside when they find out that their older brother is dead. the fact their older brother was killed by someone supposedly on their side and having it blamed on someone else aka the lord / lords. but its sad to think that cormag couldve very well ended up like linus and died by eirika’s hand if he refused to believe her words about not killing glen, but he had reason to believe she didnt because glen knew eirika from before. but linus never met eliwood, hector and lyn. so he didnt know their true nature, so he succumbed to his rage and died by their hand, and cormag got to live to avenge his brother.

     There’s a heavy breath that’s exhaled from the hero when he feels the lively pat against his shoulder blade, head being tipped in the direction of the summoner when she greets him. Of course, Linus welcomes her praise with a big smile, teeth exposed and a jovial laugh ( he certainly puffs his chest out in a bout of pride ). Whenever she was around, it tended to put him in a good mood ( an even better one now after partaking in that battle earlier. he definitely feels the adrenaline still ).

Truthfully, he hadn’t meant to direct the light into Jaffar’s face– he’d only wanted to where exactly he could get the light to project from the piece of glass. Pretty far seemed to be the answer so far.
