Ok. Im just going to say this here, and then point people in this direction.
I dont think that every person who says they think AW will fake a miscarriage are wishing she has one. But its brought up so often as a theory at this point that it feel like a portion if the SS fandom are basically wishing for it, but want plausible deniability. I wasnt saying i want her to have one, just that shes the kind of person to fake one. Its beyond weird now, its uncomfortable. And no matter how its phrased, or meant, I dont think it should be put out in the universe.
She has been out, numerous times, visibly pregnant. If you believe its a fake pregnancy thats fine, you do you, but imagine for a second it isnt. Imagine if you can that its a real pregnancy. Then imagine the worst happens and she loses the baby. What then? No sympathy from a big chunk of the fandom because they dont even believe she was pregnant so they think the miscarriage is fake. And some people won't be sympathetic even if they believe it.
Let me be abundantly clear: No matter what you think about someone, losing a baby is one of the worst things to happen. They deserve compassion, empathy, sympathy and grace. I see too many people on this app and in this fandom that I would not be surprised to see quietly celebrating if the worst happens. And that makes me sick.
So let's put our feelings for AW aside, and hope for an uncomplicated pregnancy, safe delivery and healthy baby. And stop floating miscarriage theories, ok? Its weird.

You read through my MCU rant, what you really wanted was THIS! MY DOOMSDAY RANT! Well congrats, you get it. Because of the rage.
I have beef with the comment "All roads lead to Doom". I forget who said it, one of the Russo's maybe. If all roads led to Doom, why are they having to rerelease Endgame with extra scenes to make Doomsday make sense? You don't have to retcon something that was planned that way. I'm not saying Doom was never in the pipeline, but it was certainly not meant to be now.
When Doomsday and Doctor Doom started being teased as the Multiverse Saga Big Bad, we all were confused. Because the set up had not been this. It was someone else, it was Kang as The Conqueror. That was the Multiverse set up. Through all the multiverse projects until Quantomania, we were primed for Kang to be the bad guy. Avengers: Doomsday was originally called Avengers: Kang Dynasty. Then Jonathan Majors was convicted of assault, and fired from Marvel, and instead of recasting him they completely pivoted. They pulled forward the NEXT Sagas Big Bad imo and went with Doom, and thus we get all the fuckery we have now.
And fuck I keep forgetting theyre saying Doomsday is a "direct sequel" to Endgame which basically makes everything that happened between then and now pointless. Another reason they had to retcon Endgame. I fucking hate this.
Im personally over the promo and teasers for this movie already, and we've not actually at the official promotional run yet đ¤Śââď¸
First we had the Doom Reveal
Ok. Sure. We love RDJ, and its a multiverse so alternate Tony. Yes, nostalgia bait because they know how much Tony's death impacted fans, and how missed the character is. But we could allow it.
And fans started coming up with theories about how this happened. Baby swaps and stillbirth and magic have all been floated. Some pointed to Tony looking surprised in the lift in Endgame as proof something was amiss, that Maria's pregnancy was happening at the wrong time and something happened to the baby and so Howard ended up adopting a twin to raise, leaving the other behind in Latveria to become Doom. But I think that was scrapped as a theory because in the end the time line did match up.
Then came the fucking teaser trailers.
Cast Teaser...
Teaser One...
I was livid. Genuinely. After fucking everything. More. Nostalgia. Bait. There is no good goddamn reason to bring Steve back. Sorry, its all just to cash in on the old team as much as they can. I dont care if they decided Steve created multiverse instability staying in his branch reality (one fan theory) they could have done any other story rather than drag Steve back.
Fans inspecting the trailer had thoughts. As do I. You see its like two different events mixed together: The house (where Steve and Peggy are shown in Endgame) has no gravel, but the bike is parked on a gravel drive. When Steve approached the door he didnt seem to be holding the gift from the back of the bike. What was happening? Who was on the Triumph? Was this a different multiverse variant of Steve? Would we get Captain Hydra? Theories abound. I was hoping for a variant not OG Steve.
I swear to god Rogers if that baby is called James I will throw hands!
Teaser Two...
Having Thor, a literal god, praying for strength gave us a hint at the power Doom would bring. Enough to make a god tremble. But otherwise it didnt give us much. Just... A sense of how high the stakes are.
Teaser Three...
This one got me, ngl. X-Men was my first proper superhero film viewing, and Charles and Eric especially will always have a special place in my heart. Seeing Eric so frail and dishevelled was like a gut punch. Charles was clearly emotionally ruined. The Mansion is destroyed. Scott is in his proper suit spraying eye beams like hes trying to single handedly burn down the world. Its a lot.
Teaser Four...
We actually got something from this one. Annoyingly however they gave Cap, Thor and The X-Men their own trailers but the Wakandans, the Talokanil and The Fantastic Four got mushed together? Rude. Somehow while giving us more shots from the film that imply travel and teamwork, it still didn't tell us much.
Then the Russo Brothers shared the Wakandans and Fantastic Four teaser again, but with a different message:
Of course fans had already been theorising, and this just set off a swathe of new speculation.
Firstly, the ticker countdown glitches on each trailer, but differently.
There are many ideas about what these codes could mean, but as theorized by u/TheMaverickOne7 on Reddit, one of the most intriguing is that they are actually time codes for Avengers: Endgame scenes. According to the theory, â1eâ in each represents 1 hour, the next part represents the minute, and the 02020 stands for 20 seconds.
Applying the time codes this theory generates to Endgame takes you to four interesting scenes. Steveâs code (1 hour, 24 minutes, 20 seconds) goes to The Ancient One telling Bruce Banner that âmillions will sufferâ when talking about the risk of creating branched timelines. Thorâs code (1 hour, 17 minutes, 20 seconds) goes to Loki disguised as Captain America saying, âOn my way down to coordinate search and rescue.â The X-Menâs code (1 hour, 11 minutes, 20 seconds) takes you to Rocket asking Thor, âAre you crying?â, and the last code (1 hour, 4 minutes, 20 seconds) goes to Rocket telling Ant-Man, âYou want to go to space puppy? Iâll take you to space.â
- ScreenRant
There was another theory around the glitches but I cant find it. It was also good.
People also noticed the strange framing particularly in the fourth teaser, it felt like things had been removed from the scene. This isnt new to MCU trailers, so speculation is that elements that could spoil the plot we're removed, but the framing was kept to hint at that something is missing.
Then theres the theory that Doom is in each teaser, hidden, like an easter egg.
ScreenCrush did an Epic breakdown of every clue an easter egg in each teaser. Watch it, k? Its right here:
Full disclosure, I haven't watched the entire thing since it was released so any similarities in my theories and theirs are coincidence.
Then the full trailer dropped...
Not sure what that accent is but I am sure I hate it. Wow. That's horrible. Like right off the bat. Immediately my entire self recoiled.
We still dont have a set answer as to whether Doom is the big bad, or they think he is and then discover hes not so they join forces, or if hes double bluffing... But we do see how fucking strong he is. Stormbreaker might as well have been a pool noodle. So either way, we understand Thors fear: If Doom is the Big Bad, jesus, no chance (How Bastard Rogers will help I have no idea) and if he isnt, the fact that someone as powerful as him is scared and seeking help means the Big Bad is catastrophic. Worse than Thanos. Because Doom is comic canonically stronger than Thanos. Hes stronger than all of them.
Mystique looks... Weird.
She's had a number of design changes over the films, some less impressive than others, but I was looking forward to OG Mystique because we had Rebecca Romijn back. But shes... Darker. I like the hair though. The slick back was tired. And I did enjoy her changing into Yelena.
We got some scenes that matched the forth teaser and seem to confirm the removed objects theory.
I could be wrong, but I dont think theyre on Earth. Or at least Earth 616. Could be The Void? That's a fan theory Ive seen bouncing around.
I wasnt mad mad until "We're going to need a miracle" and then Steve Fucking Rogers is there, with floppy hair and a beard looking a bit Nomad (I very much appreciate this Steve aesthetically, dont judge me) and Mjolnir just whips into his hand showing us it is in fact the bastard OG Steve.
Fuck you Rogers. Also, and I may be alone here but this is how my brain clicked into place: In Deadpool & Wolverine the concept of Anchor Beings was brought up and Pool kept referring to himself as Marvel Jesus. Popular concensus among fans (myself included) is that Tony was Earth 616s Anchor Being and his death led to the death of The Sacred Timeline (Earth 616). Some Doom theories rest on this. But this trailer, that specific scene, make me think Twatty Rogers is in fact the Anchor Being. Marvel Jesus. Longer hair. Beard. Appearance after Thor says "We're going to need a miracle". Another Doom theory is that Steve heading into a branch reality destabilised The Sacred Timeline and The Multiverse thus creating whatever catastrophy is coming. That fits with him being Anchor Being, aka, Marvel Jesus.
I hate it. Genuinely. Tony will always be my Marvel Jesus, ok?
We got some glimpses of other characters in action. Im extra happy to see Channing Tatum as Gambit, I really love him as Gambit and I dont care that Im in the minority on that đ Loki not sitting at the centre of MCU Yggdrasil worrys me immensely. We will get a Thor and Loki reunion hopefully so the sun will shine on them again! Bucky and Sam are in the same room not throwing punches, so thats good, but I assume as always any development between them is kept off screen. We got Falcon and The Winter Soldier, how dare we ask for more of the two of them actually developing their relationship & characters on screen!
I feel like once again, much like Thunderbolts, Yelena will be the leading New Avengers and Bucky will take a back seat. Sam will be sidelined as Cap because Steve is back (just to please angry twats online that cant stand Sam as Cap. Its the only real reason.) which is infuriating because Sam is Cap!!!!! Put some fucking respect on his name!!!
Nostalgia Bait. That's my primary issue with all of this. They dropped a great concept because racist fanboys were cross, ignoring the rest of the fanbase, to give us old actors coming back, old characters returning, that most of us didnt ask for. They ignored growing and developing characters and story lines to give us another double feature "direct sequel" to cash in on nostalgia before (on my opinion) hard rebooting. I dont believe its going to be a soft reboot.
There is a lot going on, multiple universes, dozens of characters, conflicting story lines and character arcs, a change from Kang to Doom, retconning Endgame, dead stories and unused characters... I think they want to go out with a bang like Infinity War and Endgame. Because Im pretty sure this theory is true:
They've been talking about rebooting the MCU after Secret Wars, so this is imo how they do it. What's the fucking point bringing all these Marvel universes together, only to reboot the entire cunting franchise!?
One thing is certain. This will be set up like Infinity War and Endgame, where Doomsday destroys a shit tonne of the universe and Secret War is the fix it film. Even if fixing it means rewriting the Sacred Timeline to reboot. People keep saying soft reboot, but I think at this point itll be a hard reboot. Soft for me would have been The Young Avengers. Which was set up and dropped. Fuck you Marvel.
Marvel have constantly wasted so many opportunities with this universe and given us chaos.
Here are a few popular Doom theories (Click to enlarge!):
An hour ago, as I begin writing this (I have so many thoughts it wont be posted quickly!) the full trailer for Doomsday dropped. And I have so many thoughts about the MCU as a whole, and I just need to talk about it all because this was one of my comfort franchises. This mattered to me, a lot. Still to this day I watch The Infinity Saga over and over.
If that makes me lame, so be it. I don't care.
I entered the MCU as a Deadpool fan, from the jump my comic book character favourite was Pool. So when it came to The MCU, I was new and had no expectations of characters and stories from the comics. Over the years I've dabbled in the comic versions of some of the characters, but as a fan I am a fan first and foremost of the MCU characters. They are distinct characters in a distinct universe from the comics, in the same way that alternate comic book universes have different versions of characters. I need that understood. Because so many people don't seem to get that. It's OK to be just a fan of the films, or just a fan of the comics, or a fan of both. You're not a poser (Or larper as the kids call it now) as an Iron Man fan if you only like the MCU. It's fine.
Black Widow
Back when The Avengers dropped, a lot of the fans were begging for a Black Widow movie, something origins based, we really wanted to know what happened in Budapest especially. We wanted Black Widow and Hawkeye on mission in Budapest. Or just, a set up film for Black Widow. At that point we hadn't had any female Superhero representation, we were 6 films in, they'd bafflingly done two Iron Mans, they'd decided the Norton Hulk film was included in Phase One, we got a Thor and a Cap. We wanted Black Widow. Instead they excitedly informed us we were getting Ant-Man.
At the time I said something along the lines of "We wanted Black Widow, a female led movie, and instead we get a film about a guy who can get really small and talks to ants. I hate it." I did not, in fact, hate Ant-Man. Damn you Paul Rudd! You ageless goofball cutiepie! But it took them until 2021 to give us a Black Widow film, and that was only to set up Yelena (Love you boo) and Alexei (What, are you trying to beat Odin in the Worst Father awards? Fuck.) to move forward in the MCU. It wasn't about Natasha. She was just the vehicle to introduce the new characters. Remember, it's released after she's dead. It ends after she's dead. It's not about her.
Speaking of Black Widow. That was a pretty big departure from the Comics. I don't care that Yelena was not Natashas sister in the comics, I mean the entire thing. Black Widow was the TOP spy/ assassin. Not the entire network. Yelena was in competition with Natasha to become The Black Widow. She wasn't given drugs to do the job, she was a volunteer to join. She was fanatical and twisted. And it's fine to leave that in the comics, but I think that reducing them to a group of drugged women doing this against their will is shitty. It's reductive and removes their agency. Having the name Black Widow removed as a code name and becoming a group name is also shitty. Natasha had it, she defected, and then Yelena took up the mantle. That's important. As is the fact that most if not all of the Red Room graduates get enhanced in a similar way to Cap. It would have made for a better characterisation if it was "Red Room assassins are enhanced and sometimes tortured and brain washed" instead of "Red Room Assassins are drugged victims who have a full hysterectomy to graduate for some bullshit reason." It's like writers cannot think of a way to write a strong female character without an aggressively tragic backstory and them losing something that the worlds considers makes you a woman. It pisses me off.
Which brings me to my next point. Tell me no-one consulted a doctor about the side effects of a total hysterectomy and oophorectomy without telling me.
Natasha said to Bruce in Age of Ultron: In the Red Room, where I was trained, where I was raised, they have a graduation ceremony. They sterilize you. It's efficient. One less thing to worry about. The one thing that might matter more than a mission. It makes everything easier, even killing. You still think you're the only monster on the team?
In Black Widow we get this conversation:
Alexei: Why the aggression, huh? Is it your time of the month?
Yelena: I don't get my period, dipshit. I don't have a uterus.
Natasha: Or ovaries.
Yelena: That's what happens when the Red Room gives you an involuntarily hysterectomy. They kinda just go in and rip out all your reproductive organs. They just get right in there and chop them all away. So you can't have babies.
Alexei: OK, OK, you don't have to get so clinical and nasty!
Yelena: I was just going to talk about fallopian tubes...
Here's the issue. When you have your ovaries removed (An oophorectomy, in this case because it's both ovaries and fallopian tubes and a hysterectomy they had a hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy) you stop producing all the hormones your body uses to grow and stay strong, you have a surgically induced menopause. That's why women who have had a complete hysterectomy with oophorectomy take hormone replacement medication. So their bones don't weaken, and their hair doesn't thin, and their skin doesn't lose elasticity and so they don't increase the risk of heart issues. So what the films are implying is that ALL the Widows are constantly taking HRT and at increased risk of all the side effects of menopause. Jesus, just one man in the room using Google and saying "Maybe not everything? A hysterectomy would probably be OK but EVERYTHING? That adds complications...."
Ugh. Men.
Bucky Barnes
My beef with The MCU and it's handling of Bucky Barnes goes deep. Bucky has been in 8 films and 2 shows, including cameos. He has had a grand total of 2 hours and 15 minutes of screen time.
Captain America: The First Avenger: 8 - 18 min (depending on how you count it) out of 124 min
Captain America: The Winter Soldier: 13 min out of 136 min
Captain America: Civil War: 23 min out of 147 min
Black Panther: A post credit scene of about 1 min
Ant-Man: Post Credit scene of about 1 min
Avengers: Infinity War: 2 min out of 149 min
Avengers: Endgame: 2 min and 50 sec out of 181 min
Captain America: Brave New World: 2 - 2.5 min out of 118 min
Thunderbolts*: 10-20 min (depending on how you count it) out of 126 min
Falcon and The Winter Soldier: 74 min out of 330 min
What If: 18 min out of 860 min
He also mentioned by Peter in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home. And that's it. This incredible character, a fan favourite, even in his own media isn't front and centre. It's infuriating.
They have this incredibly complex character, with this deep back story full of tragedy and trauma, acted by a frankly incredible actor (I may judge him harshly as a person but as I've said before, he really is a great actor) who puts so much into bringing Bucky to life and what they do with that is... Sad puppy background boy. Most of his story involves Steve, fine, but we don't actually ever see much of Bucky develop as a character. That all happens off screen. The deprogramming is ignored completely except for a goddamn post credit scene!!!! They treat him like Steves Friend who also is Strong Boi with Sad Eyes who needs A Protector. When Steve leaves (I'll get to you Rogers, you're on my shit list) he's not treated like a person, more like an extra thing Sam gets when Steve gives him the shield. "I'm making you Captain America with no thought over how the world we live in full of overt racism will handle that. Oh, and please feed and water Bucky. He needs a walk once a day for at least an hour."
Bucky was a woefully underutilised character, and frankly if Marvel refuses to actually do anything of note with him in the next two films I hope he dies. Because I'm tired of seeing him written the way he is. Yes, we all love the sassy strut off the car roof in Winter Soldier. Yes, Sebastian poured so much emotion into the character when he was taken back to the compound for his debrief. Yes, the fact he growled and snapped at Steves arm when he was pinned like a dog will never not make me snort laugh. But he deserves something better. Even films where he should be one of the main characters, he rarely gets screen time. He's just a metal arm, biceps and long hair.
I did love Falcon and The Winter Soldier, because I really enjoyed the team up between Bucky and Sam, and how their relationship developed over the episodes. We also got some implied lore about the depth of the Winter Soldier programming and how far they will go in following orders. Of course, this is never talked about again, so instead of opening up a conversation in men around sexual assault, it's a mini bomb dropped for a gasp and then ignored. Marvel, which historically caters to a heavily male audience, could have used Bucky as a real vehicle for changing the way men talk about mental health, trauma, assault, coercion. Instead we get shock value with no soul and therapy played for laughs. They did a better job in Iron Man 3 dealing with PTSD with Tony than trauma with Bucky. A missed opportunity if ever I saw one.
NOW. Controversially, maybe, I actually liked Congressman Barnes. It made zero sense, because we entered the universe when he was made congressman with very little explination about how or why that happened. Yes, a few crumbs were dropped in early episodes that it was basically set up for undercover, but that doesn't make sense. Of all people, James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes was the person you went "YES! Him. Perfect!" BUT something about him stumbling his way through press and getting really dumb excited to spill exactly no useful information is adorable. It had potential to show genuine character development, if Marvel hadn't, yet again, left all the actual development off screen.
With Thunderbolts, again, even though the entire promotional run for the film heavily leaned on Sebastian and Bucky, he got very little screen time. It was very Yelena heavy, and I don't mind that because Yelena is amazing, but it wasn't as advertised. And again, many missed opportunities here. He was primarily used to show how strong Sentry was and to say sarcastic things while sighing deeply, and then to set up a fall out with Sam which given how they left things was completely out of character. I know they were basically surprised with the New Avengers thing, but literally any one of them could have said "Hold up, no, you did this." and arrested Valentina. Instead, after turning down Sams request to join The Avengers he basically just... Goes along with this half cocked idea? Really? And he worked with John? Absolutely ridiculous.
Basically Bucky deserves better than the MCU gave him, and I really don't think it'll get better.
Scarlet Witch/ Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness
My baby!!!
Scarlet Witch has been through it. Im thankful Marvel left the overt incest in the comics, we dont need that 𤣠But her brother died. She killed the love of her life, watched him be brought back by Thanos reversing time, only to watch him be murdered again and her team lose. She was blipped. She came back mid battle, for her mere minutes after watching Vision die, and helped kick Thanos butt. She went to view Visions body, wasnt allowed to bury him, had a breakdown. She held a town hostage with magic to create a perfect world where Vision was alive, they were married and happy and had kids only for the reanimated corpse of Vision to be used to try and kill her, then Agnes went off and she found out she was a super witch from prophesy then she ended the hex and her kids essentially died.
Then the MCU fucked her and us.
Shed started her redemption at the end of WandaVision. And that was set to continue in Multiverse of Madness. Until it didn't and she became the antagonist.
Originally Multiverse was going to be The MCUs first horror film, which would have been amazing, and Scarlet Witch was set to work with Strange, Wong and America to fight the antagonist Nightmare through dream dimensions. She was trying to return to being good, to make up for her actions on WandaVision (I dont blame her grief crashout. She went through the worst things in quick succession) and continue healing and growing. It would have followed perfectly from WandaVision.
Instead Marvel were dicks and the original director left. He was replaced with someone who clearly hadn't watched WandaVision and decided to scrap the plan and script and give us the character assassination we got.
The Young Avengers
Fuck that guy, fuck Marvel. Justice for Wanda!
Captain America
My biggest problem with Steve is pretty solidly in Endgame.
First, in Infinity War we got Nomad Steve, an outlaw Cap who removed all symbols of America, the government and The Avengers from his uniform. Long hair, a beard, dark and gritty, this Steve was what happened when everything he believed in was shown to be a lie and the world he knew was ripped out from underneath him. No Shield, no fucks, Nomad was the perfect evolution of this universes Steve. He was still fighting the good fight, he still had his morals and values, but he wasnt representing America anymore.
What's the first fucking thing he does after The Decimation? Shaves and dons his "proper" uniform. Yes, yes, I know. Hes Cap, he should look like Cap, blah blah. But what has happened to undo the changes that led to Nomad? Fucking nothing. He should, imo, have been Nomad in both films. Of course, they had to backslide his character to something closer to early films Steve so they could execute the next fuck up.
Leaving to go back to Peggy was completely out of character. He even said to Tony that the guy who wanted a family went into the ice and someone else came back out. He was settled in the future, he was adjusting. He had a home, a job, friends including HIS BEST FUCKING FRIEND, and purpose. He was no longer a man out of time. But we are expected to believe that Steve, the man who went to hell and back to rescue Bucky, who was leading The Avengers, was saving the world, got one glimpse of Past Peggy and decided to fuck it all off? Nope. The fuck he would. And Im not saying Bucky needed Steve to stay, Im saying that Steve wouldn't have abandoned Bucky like that. "Till the end of the line", not "Till I have a chance to start over with Peggy." Apparently the end of the line is getting laid. Who knew?
Then you have to recognise that his actions undo everything Peggy achieved. She had a family, friends, a very important job, she was powerful and important and all that is erased by Steve deciding to stay.
Then you have the timeline issue. When Steve stays he creates a new branch reality, as shown by both The TVA and The Ancient One. He and Peggy in his new future no longer exist in The Sacred Timeline. That keeps everything that happened from unravelling, but it begs an important question: How the feathered fuck is Old Man Steve sat on that goddamn bench ready to hand his shield and name off to Sam? That's not possible. He couldn't just jump from his branch reality to The Sacred Timeline like that.
The Falcon/ Captain America/ Sam Wilson
Sam is Cap. I will hear no anti SamCap rhetoric here. From a purely logical perspective, Sam makes a perfect Captain America. Hes literally a combat veteran, hes fast, strong, kind, and cares. Hes unwavering in his belief in good. But he's Black, so hes basically treated like shit by fans and Marvel alike.
Sams reluctance to take up the mantle of Captain America makes perfect sense: Hes not a super soldier, and America isnt ready for a black Captain America. Apparently Marvel wasnt either. His first solo outing as Cap was barely promoted, especially compared to other Marvel projects from the same time. The story is... Lackluster. Anthony did an incredible job, and Marvel basically shrugged and did nothing with the character.
Sam keeps being treated like a sidekick, in a similar vein to Bucky, and hes never treated like an important character. Hes the buddy, the comic relief, the token to say "Hey! We're diverse!" And he deserves more. He deserves better. Its so frustrating seeing amazing characters swept under the rug by Marvel because racists cant stand it and they cant write characters as well as they used to. And Sam is at least as good as Steve as Cap, if not better. Fight me.
We had a build up that went no-where and it annoys me. Marvel introduced a slew of young replacements for Avengers and then just dropped them.
Yelena was set up to replace Natasha as Black Widow. She kind of did I guess. But in The New Avengers, grudgingly.
Kate Bishop was set up to replace Clint as Hawkeye.
Riri Williams/ IronHeart was set up to replace Tony/ Iron Man.
Shuri replaced T'Challa as Black Panther (Admittedly, earlier than expected. Rest in Power Chadwick)
She Hulk was set up to replace Bruce as the primary Hulk.
Love was set up to replace Thor as the primary God member.
Teen/ Billy was set up to replace Scarlet Witch with the magic.
And with that, this essay is done. Because it's a long boi and I still have to tear apart Doomsday, so you'll have to come back for part two which is already half written so it'll be up either tonight or tomorrow morning.
And then....... Crickets. Now, Shuri is in Doomsday, Yelena is in Doomsday and Love is at least mentioned by Thor in one of the teaser trailers for Doomsday. But otherwise these characters were introduced and dropped like they were covered in shit. And frankly, I would have preferred a soft reboot style move from Marvel where they shift to a new generation of characters to replace old ones where needed. Sam is the new Cap, rightly, and so he would be the head of the team guiding a new generation of Avengers to finding their feet and skills. It would be awesome. But NO. It looks like they decided to hard reboot at some point after a desperate cash grab dipped in nostalgia with Doomsday and Secret War. Fuckers.
I know people get grief when they say this, but I believe it: The MCU fell off after The Infinity Saga. There's some good stuff, mainly the TV shows, but the rest is chaotic and underwhelming. They're trying to do too much. I genuinely dont think they have a handle on the universe or a solid plan. And it shows.
and ofc aw would start following matt reeves how predictableđ i wouldnât be surprised if she started following the rest of the batman crew //
she should be following raising canes instead, after all they were generous enough to let dear old annie tag along to the game x

As i said before Deuxmoi is worse than TMZ..Get a hold of yourself, youre stalking people for a living đ¤ˇđťââď¸đ
Deuxmoi, shut the fuck up.
You are not a source. You are not reliable. You donât fact check, you donât verify, and you will post literally anything if it gets attention.
You spread gossip across multiple fandoms, you feed delusions, and half the time youâre the one starting the narratives you later pretend just âexist.â
Remember Ringgate?! Yeah. That alone tells everyone everything they need to know about your standards.
And letâs not rewrite history.
You spent years being loud, public, and very clear that Sebastian Stan and Annabelle were âPR.â That was your narrative. You pushed it.
And now suddenly itâs gone?
You tried to scrub it, but not very well. It still exists.
And now youâre kissing her ass like you didnât help build the exact bullshit youâre pretending to be above.
Get the fuck out of here.
Youâre not neutral. Youâre not credible. Youâre not above anything.
What's with the bingo? Its a trend or something else? Dm just posted something similar and its so ironic thats feed with some naratives she loves to spread around
JFC. đ¤Ź
First I'm hearing of the stupid bingo cards. I can't stand Deuxmoi. They fuel this đŠ.
I find it hilarious that the shipper side of this fandom is constantly screaming, âthe antis are doing this,â âthe antis are doing that,â âthe antis are the problem.â
Meanwhile, you are over there inventing scenarios, building narratives out of thin air, and then blaming âantisâ for things that never even happened.
Youâre not reacting to anything.
Youâre creating it.
And then you have the audacity to turn around and act like youâre the sane side of the fandom?
No. Youâre not.
Youâre literally manufacturing the drama, feeding it, and then pointing fingers like you didnât just start the fire yourself.
So donât sit there and pretend youâre the victims in a mess you created.
Same account posted all of this⌠and weâre still doing the whole âantis are the problemâ routine?
Right. Of course.
Because nothing screams âstable, rational fandom behaviorâ like making a conspiracy bingo card about a baby, calling people dumb, suggesting entire groups should be wiped off the earth, and casually throwing in violence for flavor.
But yeah⌠itâs the antis.
Totally.
I mustâve missed the part where antis logged into your account and made you post all of that.
Thatâs on me. My bad. đ
The lack of self awareness here is actually impressive. Like Olympic level mental gymnastics to post this kind of content and still somehow position yourself as the reasonable side.
At this point, yâall arenât even reacting to drama.
Youâre writing it, producing it, starring in it, and then handing out awards for it.
And just like that, my Sons of Anarchy rematch is done.
Let me say: Sutter and co are masters of using sound and silence. A lost art it seems, not to rely on so much noise all the time. Losing dialogue under the music and background chaos. There are entire scenes that start in pure silence, and slowly one by one the sounds of the world are introduced. Its much more impactfull than what is becoming the norm. Not that overpowering sound can't also be used brilliantly, it just often isnt.
Shout out to everyone except the actors failing at Irish accents. You guys sucked đ¤Ł

Some things that get banded around whenever you criticise anything about a celebrity are:
Youre jealous
Youre not a fan, youre a hater
You just want to fuck him/ her
Youre a terrible fan and they would hate you
Funnily, the people hollering those are normally playing at the bestest fan while hiding their own jealousy, problematic behaviour and desire to fuck their idol. And if you call out them or said idol, they get in their feelings and it makes them lash out. Too bad, so sad. Today however we're focusing on the hate claim. Because it's really dumb a lot of the time.
Criticism, more often than not, doesn't come from a place of hate. It comes from a place of concern, or love, or admiration. A critique gives a chance to improve, its not needlessly cruel or spiteful. Its a way of saying "I've identified this issue, if it was corrected this situation/ project would be better which is good for you." Does that seem hateful?
I dont hate Annabelle Wallis. I dont like her, I think shes childish and brash and a terrible actress, but I dont hate her. When I criticise her public behaviour in regards to her relationship with Sebastian, Im not hating her, nor am I jealous. I'm not body shaming, I'm not talking about her appearance or cosmetic surgery, shit I dont even talk about her acting. I specifically point out the problematic things she does publicly. Thats not hate, thats valid criticism.
When I talk about Sebastians shitty PR I'm not doing it from a place of hate. I was in the fandom. I love his acting. Hes incredibly talented. That's the problem, his PR and his team is fucking his career. I criticise his poor choices and problematic behaviour and frankly depressing relationship. Because its literally impacting his work, and from the look of it his mental health.
Let me give you an example of someone who is ostensibly a fan of Sebastians. I cant find the video but I'll explain it. They meet Sebastian, and during the encounter, tell him while laughing that fans call him or joke about him having a five head. Ha. Ha. Very funny. Jokes about his appearance. On the whole that wasnt treated like hate, even though its incredibly cruel and unkind, because they're the "right" kind of fans. But I, or many others, talk about how bad it looks that he drags Annabelle around or doesn't even look like he likes her, and we are haters.
Make it make sense. Only one example mocked appearance and was cruel. And theyre not the haters đ¤Śââď¸
You dont get bonus fan points for never holding a celebrity accountable for their actions, or for praising everything they do, or for never criticising them. You dont win a prize, youre not better than people who point out issues and wish for improvements. In fact, Id go so far as to say you're worse. Because noone needs a bunch of yes man sycophants that put them on a pedestal. That's terrible. That's how Trump became who he is. People need nuance, and grounding, and constructive criticism. Not hate, not bullying, not cruelty, I want to be very clear about that. Not extremes. A sensible, helpful middle ground.
If you view all criticism as hate, you need to sit down and really think about why. And also why the words of strangers about another stranger, that aren't harmful, cause you to lash out. Because thats a problem you should probably deal with sooner rather than later.
