I like the art but like dude....you morally grandstand hard. Relax a lil/pos. You dont have to be the one constantly on eggshells. Like no, F. Foxy being called a guy by some people isn't an eraser of male leaning enbies. Not everyone knows the nuisance of all of these things.
It's good that you care, but like you def have the tone of one of those ppl that think they know everything about everyone else's culture.
No disrespect, but it is hard to enjoy your art with that looming "im right about everything" stance lol.
Im not like trying to make you feel bad, I just worry some people get the same feelings I do from how you word things
-Raven (the local crow enbie)
Sorry, I’m confused how it seems that I think I’m right about everything? That was never how I said or phrased anything. Of course I understand those nuances? I wasn’t trying to grandstand, of course something small like that isn’t intentional erasure, it just was a double-standard I noticed compared to Lolbit and Mangle. I’m not on eggshells, I was just saying what I thought.
I’m non-binary myself, I get to have an opinion.
This is just something I noticed, it’s a much older problem from back around when UCN first came out but I still notice the effects of it today, that’s all the post was about. It’s something I notice and it bothered me so I posted about it, it’s not that big of a deal. And clearly other people understand the way I feel about it. I noted masc enby erasure because it happened to a masculine character but didn’t happen to the more feminine ones. I wasn’t trying to seem like everyone who ever called F.Foxy a guy is erasing masc enbies.
I genuinely want to trust your good faith here, but it feels like you’re putting words in my mouth and I don’t think it’s my responsibility to apologize for you misinterpreting my tone. I used to put a ton of disclaimers on anything even vaguely negative that I posted, but I’m done doing that now. I’m willing to trust myself, and if I’m wrong I’m wrong and I’ll learn from it.
I’m sorry if I seem up-tight but I promise I’m not, I just don’t understand your perspective. I know I was very frank in that post but frankly it’s because I didn’t have the energy to act apologetic about how I felt AND because people tend to respond better to frankness than being unsure.
I’ll give you one thing: I used to be a very up-tight mess a couple years ago and I apologize if you find any of those old posts. I had (and still sometimes have) immense moral anxiety and was so caught up in trying to be like those I considered friends at the time that I didn’t know how to relax, and luckily I’m not like that anymore- at least not as much. Obviously I’ve still got problems, but I’m better now.
Thanks for your concern, but I'm just being honest, not trying to grandstand.
(Btw yes the post has been edited a bit, figured I’d phrase things a little differently to not come off as a brick wall.)
