“No, actually, Tamiko and Nadette so Slytherin and Ravenclaw, I believe.” Tyler gave a genuine smile, he was fairly happy with the news, one of the few things he was very truly proud of was his hard work as Head Boy and he was glad two capable people had now been given the opportunity to do the same. Was he looking for travel tips? Tyler sighed wistfully. “No, at least not in the short term, I’m afraid… but I do intend to see more of the world eventually so if there are any places you particularly enjoyed I’d be happy to take recommendations.”

“Yeah I plan to soon hopefully. Though I’ll actually be moving with Sonder. We’ve always talked about living together one day after Hogwarts and both of us feel it’s finally time.” Despite what he used to think Jeremy wasn’t quite sure he was ready to live with Tyler. “Don’t know where we’re going to move though I know we don’t want to be too far from our parents.” They wanted out but they didn’t want to be far away either. “Oh look this is one of the apartments, shall we go have a look?”

With a quick flick, she pushed her hair off of her shoulder and away from her face so she’d be able to take everything in. “I would love to.” Willa grinned shaking her head. “It doesn’t matter where you are, you’d be able to see your parents within the hour with magic.” She said with jazz hands. “But roots are good too. Especially roots near family and friends.”

Quella hummed agreeably. “The longer I work on Understreet, the more I feel like I’m really apart of the community. I think I needed that, I can’t imagine what it would be like to go from Hogwarts with all my dorm mates and house mates and then suddenly realize how alone I am. I moved out of my Gran’s I have a flat not too far. If you wanna do more than window shop we can head back to my place and you can kinda get a fell for what the apartments look like inside.”

Willa didn’t quite understand it if she didn’t want to be alone, why did she move out? “I wouldn’t turn down the opportunity. You don’t get bored with the routine?”

Xavier chuckled shaking his head. “You can create structure in your life. I got a job at Patientia. It keeps me busy and gives me a little more structure.”

Willa didn’t want a job right now. She wanted the freedom to do what she wanted where she wanted. If she wanted to hop on a train or catch a portkey, she didn’t feel the pressure to be home in time for work or have a curfew. “For me, I don’t think a job is what I need but maybe some set plans. Something like karaoke nights each week and wine Wednesdays.”

“Something fun was how you tricked me into this. I thought you said we’d go flying. What is this something fun you think we’re gonna do?”

“Pretend.” She held out her hand. “Wanna see if the realtor will let us walk around if we’re engaged?” She wiggled her fingers with a giggle.

“Just browsing,” PJ grinned back at Willa. She moved to let Willa in and folded her arms to shield herself from the cold gust coming from the door. “Good idea. Who do you have left?” Whenever PJ stumbled upon something that reminded her of her friends she bought it and saved it for later, which usually meant the Christmas shopping was a quick affair. The collection of trinkets, art and memorabilia in the back of her closet was a pretty impressive snapshot of her friendships. “You don’t want some company, do you?”

Willa unraveled her scarf from around her neck and stepped inside looking around to see where to start. “My mothers mostly. I’ve got a mysterious pen pal too that mostly I’m just getting a few prank things together.” She shrugged off her jacket too before folding it over her arm then reached for PJ. “You’re not getting off easy. I would love the company. Since you were browsing, did you see anything good?”

Niles scoffed quietly shaking his head. “I just mean, your mothers don’t know me. I could just make sure you make it home safe and then make sure to remember you’re a sneak who selfishly flirted with me to use me for my bike.”

Willa stopped abruptly and turned to face Niles. She poked his chest with a smirk. “Are you mad that I tricked you into this? Did you want to hook up?”

Niles huffed and stuffed his hands into his pockets. Niles loved moms, moms typically liked him but he’d never met Willa’s mothers. “Are your moms home? I doubt you’ve warned them that you’ve convinced a bartender on a motorbike to give you a ride home.” He deadpanned with a roll of his eyes.

“You grew up in London, what could you possibly miss that you haven’t seen before?” He knew the answer, he knew she was looking for a place and honestly so was he but he wasn’t in a rush. His parents and grandmother were nice enough to let him wait it out there till he knew what he really wanted. “You’re not staying with your moms?”

“Okay so maybe we could look at some studios? It’ll be a bit cheaper than a 1 bedroom but will have the basic necessities.” Jeremy wanted to move out soon. His house was just feeling a little bit too crowded with the twins and his grandma being at the house. “It is a really nice area. Maybe I should look into getting a place here too.” Jer looked over and pointed at the top clipping, “Why don’t we go see this one first it’s right around the corner?”

Everything was a fight with Willa, always felt like they were on the verge of an argument even when they might actually agree. “Good.” He said with a smile, “Then we should be able to find you something that we agree is nice.”

“Appeasement. Smart.” She smirked over her shoulder while she continued to walk while ruffling the paper with a few listings that she was looking at. “Just another block and the flat will be on our left. Do you wanna do something fun?”

Niles was getting a bit tired of following Willa around. “You know when you told me you wanted to take me home, I assumed you had a place you called home. Now I feel used and dirty like you’re using me for my bike and opinion.”

“It’s your fault you fell for it,” Willa smirked over her shoulder and held back a chuckle. “I just wanna look at one more place on this block and then we can go to my moms’.”
