Banning how someone creates is as much censorship as banning ships and other subject matter. "Write whatever you want" To me means allowing pro ai content. When I ask a clarifying policy question for a potential new site, its frustrating to have the comment immediately removed rather than answered. Forget 'saying it to my face' People can't even tell me I'm not welcome to MY AVATAR! Like... Ya'll call us the monsters, but all I've ever asked since I began incorporating the new tech is literally two things: 1. Pattern recognition of other artistic backlash. I guarantee you your preferred medium had to go through this. Especially if you use anything other than a pencil, brush, or ink pen. If you're photographer. If you use a stylus. Honestly, even a computer over typewriter or a typewriter over a notebook...... you're a hypocrite to be shutting people like me out. 2. Inclusion. The ability to share. How is ruining contests I make when I construct my own space in the midst of being shunned by flooding them with anti content anything other than hateful? Why should I follow rules you break? That's without the nasty DMs. You're the ones who literally run us off sites and otherwise make sure we can't post. You'd rather scream thievery with no proof of victim name while being perpetrators of something you refuse to analyze than accept that our work is as worth preserving as yours.

Dan Salvato's attempt to control what artistic method can and can't be used to make fanwork is no less ridiculous and ungrateful to those who made his crap popular than Anne Rice not allowing fanfiction. At least to my knowledge our dear Dan isn't actively harassing fans with cease and desist letters. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Some are claiming we just need to respect it and.....no. Dan created the OG game. Fanwork belongs to fans. As stated above too, no one knows this guys name without fan attention, Just another showcase of how copyright creates unnecessary hierarchy. The history of storytelling is ignored. As is the fact that for those who can sell..... the people buying are the reason the OGs who undoubtful also got their inspiration outside of their own box get fame and money. without us looking they're as nobody as we are. I remain anti-copyright and pro ai as valid art.

Everyone on Reddit is always so angry. I can't remember the last time I've gone over there and not been immediately depressed. I am pretty much blocked out of every space without an actual banhammer pronto upon visiting. If its not banning AI utilization, then its the banning pro-shipping/fiction ideology. Like....sorry, I don't think we should harass people over lines of ink and pixel. Even the places that do accept me or at least don't bother with bandwagons still just scream at each other in comments of posts. 'AI slop' when something isn't even AI... 'no pro-shipping' meanwhile their prominent art features a ship with clear problematic elements. Just not whatever vague one they mean. Jesus. Both these groups are going to be the one shot in the foot one day. Face meet leopard. I'm just so thankful to the existence of Tumblr and Pillowfort where I don't have to deal with the cockamamy crap of immature grade-school cliches from people old enough to know better. And if they aren't/don't why are they online?
