pats the extended cushioned seat in front of him  encouragingly for them to sit next to him -   two rows of bottles each containing dark colored ink of all colors lined along the near counter as he reaches to adjust the lighting.   the black latex of his gloves shining like oil as he takes a seat on the stool.  it wasn’t he received a  brazen request  quite like this one,  a grin tugging ever so slightly near the corners of his mouth. there is almost an excitement there although rather subdued.   who was he to really judge anyone on their choices in life   ?   

looks up from his sewing for  ONLY A MOMENT,    brows perching up high on his forehead.  eyes like dark simmering coals in a pit.     

❛      . . .    so  do you prefer to use those claws for   GUTTING   your prey or  to let them simply    bleed out    on their own   ?         ❜

     ❝OH? YOU WORK THAT quickly?❞ Hmm…in that case, he truly had nothing to lose, right? This would be but one little stop in his exploration of this modern city with all its many, inviting shops. Besides, he was curious and wanted to see how skilled the other was with their tools of trade. For most in the city, one look at the other and they might completely avoid him altogether, anxious and wary of the piercings he wore and the peculiarity of his eyes. Ozymandias, however, was intrigued. Out of all the people he had passed on the sidewalk, this was the only one to give him pause – to make him tilt his head with utmost interest. Lips curled into a pleased smirk at the compliment aimed his way, metaphorical feathers puffed up. ❝Do you flatter everyone you draw, Stranger? Not hoping to earn some kind of tip from me, are you?❞

     Not that Ozymandias did not mind giving one if he liked the art enough, of course. He was not stingy and rewarded others based on their skills. A part of him was doubtful this was this stranger’s intent. They did not seem like the kind who cared for such things, more than likely latching onto what inspiration they could before an idea left their thoughts. ❝You stand out yourself, although you certainly do not need to hear that from me, I am sure. Honestly, I must say you are still a welcomed change.❞

uta smirks in a rather flat but   not unkindly   manner at his response,  twirling the silver pen in his hand once before clicking down to press upon the blank canvas held against his arm for support.   handsome and witty  was this one,   it would seem this was turning out to be his lucky day after all.        ❛      we’re both  VERY BUSY   people  and  i would hate to occupy your time longer than needed.      ❜     in truth,   uta was rather selfish in that regard and had every intent to keep him occupied for as long as their brief time together would allow. 

this man was truly like a walking mosaic piece.    to let him just saunter on by without so much as a sketch would’ve been any artist greatest loss.

           he knew he was being watched.  from the dark of the night.  the damp alley way of flickering neon lights drenching the shadows with their reds redder than the normal as if hemoglobins ran through the soft led glass.  standing there in black reflecting light ,  he turns slow his pallid face ghastlier ,  almost washed out.            “         so it’s more than a fashion statement , ah?       ”          but he thinks he knows what they may talking about.  memory flickers back to that one monstrous humanoid that tried to eat him.  took a large bite of his arm ,  but it’s completely healed now.  quicker than anticipated for the bastard couldn’t sink their teeth in deep enough.  berserker was surprised ,  for a few seconds ,  but they were mortified when a single bullet eviscerated them ,  made them implode into bits.         “        i see.  know where i could get one?        ”

it was brilliant really.   the way this stranger carried himself in battle with another,  it was very unlike  the sloppy and haphazard way many ghouls in this district often fought each other, especially when driven by their hunger alone for flesh.   it was refined,  elegant,   AND DEADLY.   something that uta himself found deep admiration in.  the soles of his leather boots crunch upon the greasy dark pavement beneath them.  COLDLY KICKING ASIDE   a piece of brain matter still connected to skull of the other’s unfortunate adversary with the heel of his boot. 

❛       of course.    though you may want to follow me closely,  you’ve made   quite the impression on others already.    i wouldn’t want you getting ambushed.     ❜      a smile graces his lips,  walking toward him and brushes their forearms together   AS A SUBLTE INDICATION TO FOLLOW HIS LEAD   for the time being.
