Sycamore Labs Head Assistant

A little about me:

I was born in Oreburgh, Sinnoh but raised in Santalune, Kalos. I specialize in Rock Type pokemon and am a former Rhyhorn Racer. If you've ever heard the names Valen and Yoka, that was me and my Rhyhorn. I unfortunately quit in college due to outside circumstances, but I will gladly talk about my experience. I also was in the soccer scene in college as well, but Rhyhorn Racing is more what I am known for.

Personal Information:

I'm 43 years old, use He/It pronouns, and have a service Rotom named Novae. I do also have a bit of memory issues, so forgive me if I accidentally forget anything.

Trainer Card:

The gentle press of soft lips against his own, sheepish in their movements. He pulls them in closer, bringing a hand up to cup their cheek. They squirm a little at this display of affection and pull away. There’s a scared look in their eyes as they dart from him to the crowd before them. It stings a little as it smiles reassuredly, grabbing their hand and squeezing gently.

“My dear? Is everything alright?” It whispers softly, so the cheering crowd can’t hear. They shake their head and squeeze his hand in return.

“N-No.”

“No?” His smile drops slightly.

“Can. Can we go somewhere quiet. To talk?” They whisper softly, voice quivering. He nods and smiles again, carefully pulling them down the aisle. A knot forms in his chest as he watches them shrink from the crowd, from the eyes on them. A woman, sobbing, grabs at him and congratulates him. He stops to thank her, before feeling a tug on his arm. They walk, disappearing into a small building. It’s empty, the crowd outside not yet filling the space, so they can be alone.

“Alright. What’s on your mind, my dear?” It asks softly, resting a gentle hand on their shoulder. They flinch and look up at him with big eyes.

“Valentin. I-I know I’m supposed to be happy, I know I’m supposed to feel this overwhelming surge of love. But I just feel scared.” They fidget with their hands as they speak, “I am really excited to be married now. But, I think the crowd just got to me…”

“Ah, darling, that’s my family..?”

“I know, but, there’s so many of them? I guess I got scared at the huge crowd.”

“I-It’ll always be like that? At any reunion? Ah, just, nevermind that for now. Shall we just. Take a break? Before the reception?”
