Hey, anon! Yes it is possible – I had many friends who only studied abroad for one semester and had to leave early to make it back in time for classes starting on the quarter schedule. As long as you have a valid excuse and communicate clearly with your professors, you should be fine.

If I remember correctly, you enroll in the classes that are first-come-first-served before you get to Taiwan, and then there’s an adjustment period when classes begin. You can try emailing the professor for a code, but in my experience they give those out on the first day of instruction. 

I lived in the Shui Yuan Prince House in building C, the co-ed dorm. I paid $180 USD a month for a double ;)
