출연자 중 유일한 한국인. 노지현 님은 2005년에는 맥 지리 역할이였음. 많은 공연들이 취소됐는데 오페라의 유령은 취소되지 않음. 부산 공연 끝나고 다들 집으로(외국으로) 돌아가서 3주 휴가 가짐. Noh Ji-Hyun is the only Korean in the World Tour team. She was Meg Giry in 2005. Many Korean theater performances are cancelled but The Phantom of the Opera isn't. POTO team had 3 weeks vacation after Busan shows' over.

공연 취소될까봐 걱정 많이함. 하지만 현재 공연 진행중. 관객이 많이 와주심. 마스크 다 끼시고 소독도 하고 온도 측정 다 하시고 오심. 마스크 없으면 입장 불가. 소독제 뿌려서 소독. 배우들 있는 곳도 마스크 쓰고 소독제 뿌리고 온도 측정함. POTO team has worried whether the shows are cancelled or not. Anyway still running. There are a large audience. They all put on their mask, do disinfection, check their temperature. If you don't have a mask, you cannot get in the theater. All cast-zone too : putting mask, having disinfection, checking temperature.

오디션 보고 합류함. 1992년에 런던에서 시작을 했고- 한 번 <오페라의 유령> 한 경우 Phamily라서 함께 해온. 발레 전공. 학교를 조기 졸업하고 첫 작품이 <회전 목마> - 선생님이 유명한 발레 안무가셨고 덕분에 오디션을 봄. 딱 1명을 뽑는데 뽑혔다. She had auditioned and be the Phamily in 1992 London. Once you be the member of POTO, you are the Phamily - so still working as Phamily. Her major is ballet. After the early graduation, The first performance was <Carousel>. The teacher was a famous ballet choreographer ; so Noh could have an audition. Only one person picked, and she was the one. {10:30 ; She mentioned her teacher's name but I'm not sure the spelling.}

해외 투어팀이랑 다니느라 작년에는 한국에 1달만 머물렀음. 한국 다음은 뉴질랜드랑 대만으로 월투 예정(올해 대만). 내후년에도 꽉 차있음. Because of the world tour schedule, Noh stayed in Korea only a 1 month last year. POTO world tour team is going to go New Zealand and Taiwan in 2020 after Korea. POTO world tour's three years from now schedule is full.

[13:48] 극 처음 Auctioneer 역할 배우 분이랑 결혼하셨다는(미국분). 예전에 미국에서 유령 역할을 한 적이 있으시다는. 독일에서 10년간 하셨고. 2번째 세계 투어부터 같이 함. (지금은 3번째 세계 투어) 남편 분은 독일어를 나중에 배우셔서 한 것. Ian Jon Bourg. 한국에서도 재작년 캣츠에 출연하셨고 지킬앤하이드 해외팀도 출연하심. 라스트 네임 바꾸지 않음. 노지현o. 보그지현x. 2001년 한국 당시 맥 지리. 2001년 한국 공연도 오디션 따로 봄. 한국에 2000년도에 들어왔는데 - 오디션 공고를 기간 지나고 확인함. 전화드려서 런던에서 공연했다고 말 하고 오디션장을 갔는데 런던에서 같이 일하던 사람들이 오디션장에 계셨다. 오디션 보고 맥 지리로 합류. 고 1때 영국으로 감 (1989). Noh married the American who acts auctioneer in POTO. He is Ian Jon Bourg. He acted the phantom in USA and Germany(10years). They have worked together since second world tour (Now it's third world tour). He learned German to act the phantom. She is not Bourg Jihyun, but Noh Jihyun - She didn't changed her last name. Mr. Bourg did CATS, Jekyll & Hyde world tour. Noh was Meg Giry in 2001 Korea production. She had auditioned in 2001 too. She was back to Korea in 2000 and found out the audition after the recruitment period was over. But she called to the company and said that she had performanced in London. After the call, She went to have the audition, and there were people that had worked together in London. She was confirmed as Meg Giry after the audition. She went to the UK when she was 1st grade student of high school.

[22:12] 스무살 때랑 지금이랑 확실히 느낌이 다름. 직위도 다르니까. 발레 안무가 더 많았는데 Hal Prince 가 너무 많다고 해서 줄이고 줄인 것. ALW도 줄이라고 해서 줄임. 2시간 40분 안에 맞춰서 해야하니까. 노래는 줄이지 않음. 이것 때문에 3분이서 싸우셨다는. 노래는 줄이면 안되는 작품. Different feelings, different position compared to age 20. There were more ballet choreography in the show, but Hal Prince said it's too much so they lessened some ballet choreography. ALW agreed. Because the show have to finished within 2hours 40minites. But music part is not lessened. Because of this, 3 of them argued. Anyway music part must not be lessened.

고3때 처음 이 LP 음반을 샀다. 당시 한국에는 잘 안 알려졌을 때. LP를 샀는데 그 안에 대사가 다 나오지는 않지만 대략적인 진행이 어떻게 되는지 나와있는 대본집이 있었다. 영어 공부를 그걸로 했다. 노래는 너무 좋은데 무대는 본 적이 없고 대체 파리 오페라 하우스 밑에 왜 호수가 있지? 그걸 어떻게 무대에 보여주는 거지? 궁금했다. 대본에 너무 재미있어서 상상하면서 늘 노래를 들었다. 듣느라 공부를 안했다. 모르는 단어가 많았고 찾아가면서 ~ 미친 듯이 좋아하는 걸 주변 친구들은 알 거다. 96년 홍콩에서 처음 무대를 봄. 공연을 보는 게 패키지 상품이었다. 낮에 관광을 너무 많이 하고 밤에 피곤한 상태로 들어가서 공연 중에 졸았다...MOTN 때 졸았다... 나중에 피아노 치는 장면에 깼다. 스스로가 싫었다. Noh bought the LP POTO album when she was 3rd grade student of High school. POTO was not that famous in S.Korea. There were a libretto in the LP. The libretto was helpful to understand the show. She studied English with that libretto. She wondered how the lake is under the Paris Opera house? how they show those things on the stage?--- She listened the music with her imagination. She didn't study because she listened the POTO music. There were a lot of English words that couldn't understand, but she studied to know the meaning of words. Friends of her may know how she was enthusiastic to POTO. In 1996, She watched show for a first time in Hong Kong. Watching the show was the part of the package travel, but she was too exhausted due to sightseeing. So she dozed off during the POTO performance -  especially MOTN. She woke up when the phantom was playing the piano. She hated herself..

상임 안무가이면서도 스윙이다. 발레 스윙이라는 것은 - 발레 하는 사람이 7명인데 누가 아프거나 무슨 일이 있을 때 한 명 대타로 올라감. Singer가 모자랄 때도 올라감. 스윙이 모자라면 대신 올라감. 일주일에 3-4번 공연 보면서 노트함. Noh is a senior choreographer and swing. The ballet members are 7,but If someone is hurt or something, Noh be the one of ballet members. If the singer or Swing is insufficient, Noh covers. 3-4 times a week, She notes the show.

[36:20] 화요일마다 Note session? - 크리스틴 춤 추는 건 다 노트함. Every Tuesday is note session day. Noh notes all of Christine dancing.

질리언 링(안무가, 작년에 돌아가심)-- 안무는 똑같다. 다른 나라에 가서 이 분이 조금씩 바꿀 뿐. 1986년에 만들어져서 21세기 현재에 조금씩 바꿀 뿐. 제일 마지막으로 바꾼 게 라스베가스 공연 안무.. 현재 영국 미국 월드투어 이걸 사용중. 영국 공연 당시 오셔서 지도해주심. 안무 그대로 유지하는 게 중요하기에 그게 업무. 캐스팅이 바뀔 때가 있는데 연습을 시키고 무대에 올리는 것도 역할. Gillian Lynne(Choreographer)'s choreography. All choreography is the same. She changed a bit in another nation's production. It made in 1986, and a bit of choreography is changed. The last changed choreography is the Las Vegas one. Recently, the UK & the US & Worldtour team use same Las Vegas one. Gillian Lynne taught when Noh was in London. Maintaining the choreography is Noh's business. If the casting is changed, Teaching new casting is Noh's business too.

[41:40] 제일 좋아하는 장면 - 관객들로는 MOTN가 제일 기대될테지만, 저는 dressing room 뒷부분에서 발레리나들이 연습하는 장면 좋아함 - 움직임과 조명의 조합이 좋다. 드가의 그림을 연출. Most favorite scene - The audience may expect the MOTN, but I love the dressing room scene that the ballerinas are practicing behind the room. Combination of moving and the lighting is awesome. It seems like Edgar Degas's art. 또 다른 장면은 오페라의 유령 영화에서 라울이 경매 장면에서 예전으로 돌아가는 장면이 있는데(Movie can use flashback technique) 뮤지컬에서는 과거 회상이 어려움. 경매 장면 끝나고 샹들리에 불이 켜지면서 예전으로 돌아가는데 커튼들이 올라감 : 커튼들이 지난 과거를 이야기함. 하나는 굉장히 빠르게, 느리게, 중간중간 - 세월을 거스른다는 표현 ; 세트 디자이너 분들이 말씀하심. The other favorite scene is the end of the action part. Chandelier lights, the curtains scroll up.. It's the scene that all time is back to the past. Movie can use flashback technique but stage can't. Each curtain has their own speed. Very fast, very slow or normal speed - The curtains imply going back to the past ; The set designers said.

다들 미국 분들이 많은데 영국 억양으로 통일해서 하려고 함. There are a lot of American actors in POTO team, but we try to unity using british accent on the stage.

이거 말고도 안무 굉장히 많이 하심 : 헤어 스프레이, 렌트 (직접 함) - 외국은 상임, 상주 안무 : cats, producers, Cigago, Billy Elliot. 김연아(피겨스케이팅), 손연재(리듬체조) 갈라콘서트 안무 짜기도. Noh did <Hair Spray>, <Rent> (herself) / <Cats>, <Producers>, <Cigaco>, <Billy Elliot> / Yuna Kim's figure skating gala concert choreography etc..

가장 마음에 드는 안무 - Susan Stroman이 하신 프로듀서스, 컨택트 작품 좋아함. 이 분이 안무를 짤 때 소품을 잘 사용한다. 배우들 중에 BTS 모르는 사람이 없다. Most favorite choreography is Susan Stroman's <Producers> and <Contact>. Stroman's choreography is really good at using props. All casts know BTS.

공연을 보시고 힐링이 되셨으면 좋겠다. 코로나 문제가 크지만 방역 잘하고 있으니 무서워하지 말고 오셔서 힐링하고 가셨으면 좋겠습니다. 무대에서 많은 관객들 보면 힘이 되고. 1년째 투어를 하고 있지만 한국이 관객 반응이 젤 최고다. 많이 자리 채워주시면 감사하겠습니다. 좋은 추억 만들어가세요! 6월 27일까지 서울에서 공연. I want POTO shows be the big comfort for the audience. Our prevention of Covid19 is quite well, So don't be scary. On the stage, a large audience is very cheerful. 7주간에 연습을 이번에 더 길게함. 세트랑 의상이 새로워서 적응하기 위해 8주동안 연습함. 미국 영국과 무대 같지만 기술적으로 발전한 세트. Normally we practiced 7 weeks, but did 8 weeks to adjust to all new set and costume. Same as the US & the UK set, but technically more improved.
