In the mood for a charcoal portrait. I've always been fascinated by powerful features and Jason Momoa as Aquaman is pure epicness (tho I'm not so fond of the comic book character).

"Loving Vincent" is (literally) a moving piece of art. I'm especially fond of the black and white scenes and this is the result of washing off the bittersweet aftertaste.

Somewhere past the Dark Rift starts the journey of a lost space traveler. By the end of Inktober, I’ll be developing this illustrated short story.  It is a journey of discovery for myself, mingling with dreamscapes written in my dream journal, trying to bind them into a single narrative.

My grandfather was a blacksmith and, basically, most of the time we were surrounded by horses. Observing them, I started to feel the urge to bring them closer, to capture their spirit and to imbibe it in my own nature. I instinctively started to shape my feelings and thoughts about them in different mediums (drawing, painting, molding clay). I was discovering a new dimension, different from my known universe by then. It felt like I have discovered a new set of pillars of creation. I was the captain of a ship passing through an event horizon, striving to understand the creative and destructive forces inside this newly discovered realm.

You look at them firing at their own ship, the one on which you happen to be as well. There's nowhere else you can go, no piece of land, nor other ships. You can't survive in water with lungs for air, skin for sun, guts for warmth, legs for dirt and crave for timber. Wouldn't be wise to focus on methods to prevent shipwrecking?
