i lovedlovedloved the closeted plot in S1 and 2 and i'm really dissapointed we didn't get a real developpement this season :( because OBVIOUSLY it was a big deal for maddy when she went through his phone , even told kat about it !! and then we didn't even follow up with jules either ? missed oppurtinity fr. nate being into men too was a really good plot , and him with jules was so interesting to watch. they didn't even interact ONCE this season. i was hoping they'd atleast mention his sexuality ONCE in rue's head during the wedding. idk . expected some follow up of it.

okay , back to the subject , the cinematography during rue's last minutes felt ALOT like the beautiful scenes we used to have in earlier seasons by petra. the hand toward the sky , the acting , the scenes she was living through the parallels of her breathing hard reaching for help ?? gorgeous work. i did love S3 but each time i compare it to S1 and 2 it feels so much less magical. rue's last moments brought back a glimpse of petra collins. i would've teared up even more if i'm tired played in the background. the religious music didn't feel sad , more powerful than gut wrenching. still , they really didn't miss on those last scenes.

i hatehatehate when people comment "oh we lost mac miller two times in one lifetime" under angus edits. like idk if i'm the only one but i find that SO weird.. they're both their own person , why do people keep resducing them to looking alike ? they both suffered the same fate , unfortunately , but it stills rubs me the wrong way to compare them like that ? it's really just reducing him to "he looks like mac"

they're so cinderella by mac miller. missing early season's lex. she used to be so cute before going all "i'm better than you all" . miss my lonely loser who likes gangsters and theatre.
