@fallen-first
Her eye twitched at the sound of the epithet, but chose to ignore it. Heaving a deep sigh, she raised an eyebrow, looking back at the devil.
ââŚMaple World. Thatâs the name of this dimension.â Eclipse crossed her arms, her face remaining twisted with annoyance. âI donât know what kind of nonsensical dimension you came from, but I suggest you scurry back off to the filthy rat hole you crept through. Thereâs no place for you here.â
âCome on,â he cooed, before casting his eyes to survey the area. It seemed...magical, to say at least - in a different kind of atmosphere to his homeland. It was a new type of environment; but strangely enough, it seemed to comfortably welcome his kind considering the lack of bleak air that definitely spelled out âno demons in this worldâ.Â
(Boy, was he glad he was out of that boring old place.)
âI just got here, honey-pie. Let me take in the scenery. You know what tourists do when they travel.âÂ
Dear lord, not you again. Anyone but you. (askgoddesschoro)
âWhat a surprise.â @askgoddesschoro
After all, it wonât be that easy for a lowly devil to deserve a date with me.

âIâm pretty stacked right now,â he says with a grin, âNow would be a perfect time for a date.â
âAs if,â she pulled her hand out of his grip, backing up a few steps. âI donât see how this could benefit me in any way. I donât have time for your foolish âdatesâ.â
He shrugged, the smirk still painted evidently on the devilâs lips. âWell, that was up to you,â he replied with a sneer, â Youâre definitely missing out on a load of this.âÂ
He snapped his fingers. âBy the way, I wandered far away from my own dimension. Sexy, do you think you can tell me where I am?âÂ

Catching Juushimatsuâs limp body, Osomatsu slid his arm under his knees and swiftly picked his younger brother up. He felt the eyes of some passerbies, which he glared towards, before disappearing into an empty alleyway.Â
âDonât worry, Juushimatsu,â he whispered, his horns materializing. Black wings coated in red, almost remiscent of blood itself began to morph into his back, each wing stretching out. A tail also slipped from behind him and his hands just so slightly formed nails sharp like claws. He bared his fangs into a smirk.Â
âYou and oniichan will definitely go to Okinawa,â he planted a gentle kiss on his unconscious brotherâs forehead, âI promised, didnât I?âÂ
Weâll play lots over there, and itâll be lots of fun.
And they disappeared into the night sky.
Flying to Okinawa didnât take too long. He had taken alternative routes, slipping through air pressure and avoiding human sight proved to be difficult especially while carrying a body, so he desperately had to stay within the night and away from the vision of the moon. Thankfully the wind seemed to aid him on their quest, and before long they reached the beaches with ease.
Laying Juushimatsu down by a tree, he let his features disappear. âThat was ridiculously tiring,â he grumbled to himself, moaning in muscle pain.Â
Jyushimatsu had been in dreamland, dancing in a field. In fact, it was white and fluffy! But he wasnât wearing his normal outfit, oh no, he was dressed in a uniform! His first job! He couldnât mess it up by not wearing his outfit, right?Â
He could fly too! Jyushimatsu laughed and jumped around, spreading the feathers. Time to fly! He could feel the wind against his face, and he smiled and laugh. It seemed so real, as if he really was flying through the airâŚ
Jyushimatsu cracked open his eyes, only to see Osomatsu nearby, muttering something. Just for a second, he saw something red disappearing, but it was too quick for him to make it out.
Jyushimatsu sat up, looking around. He was on a beach?Â
Okinawa?
He immediately got up, his face pratically glowing with happiness. Okinawa! He was in Okinawa!Â
âOKINAWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!â he yelled, running up and down the beach. He screamed and waved his good arm around so much, then rushing straight for Osomatsu and slamming into him, hugging him close. âThank you thank you thank you thank you Osomatsu-niisan! How did we get here though? I think i fell asleep on the way here! Haha, I must have played too much today! But we are here! Okinawa!â Jyushimatsu cheered, bouncing up and down. He could play now! And have lots of fun! Fun fun fun!
The sheer force of Juushimatsuâs enthusiasm was enough to knock him down into the sand. He grunted irritably, spitting out some that fell into his mouth. âHey, Juushimatsu! Watch it, sand is really annoying to get off clothes!â he scolded, hitting Juushimatsuâs head.Â
Something about Juushimatsuâs happy expression was contagious, as he found himself genuinely smiling too. Even if he had other plots in mind for this holiday, he didnât seem to regret sneaking away from that house of four other brothers. It made him feel a sense of...
....no, he thought to himself. These people are nothing to you but toys, Osomatsu, for your disposal. Donât feel anything unnecessary.Â
Patting away some dust on his chest, he took off his hoodie and wrapped the sleeves along his waist. Okinawaâs weather was a lot warmer than Tokyoâs. His T-Shirt was a fine cotton red, just a tad lighter shade than his hoodie and read TRASH KING in white as a design. Although he had a necklace - a cross - dangling from his neck, which he hastily placed inside his shirt.Â
âNow,â he took a fresh breath of air, âShould we go to the hotel?âÂ
âItâs a shame we canât go this way,â he sighed. His voice was a little bit quieter, and deep that (wouldâve) resembled disappointment.
After a long pause, he still remained rooted in spot. A little scoff escaped his lips, and then he started again.Â
âJuushimatsu, donât you feel tired?âÂ
In one quick, almost shadowlike motion, a sharp pain was struck at the back of Juushimatsuâs neck, knocking him out.Â
âI think you need some rest.â
Disappointment filled Jyushimatsu for a moment, as he watched Osomatsu sighed. Oh well. But for some reason, Osomatsu wasnât moving. He tugged on Osomatsuâs sleeve, wondering what was going on.Â
âOsomatsu-niisan. Letâs go home. We can come back another day!âÂ
Osomatsu suddenly spoke, but before Jyushimatsu could react, a sudden pain could be felt at the back of his neck. Jyushimatsu froze, before his eyes glazed over and he collapsed onto the floor.Â
Laying Juushimatsu down by a tree, he let his features disappear. âThat was ridiculously tiring,â he grumbled to himself, moaning in muscle pain.Â
Juushimatsuâs booming voice snapped him out of his thoughts. Quickly tapping sent, he placed his cellphone into his pocket and whistled. âThat took quite a while now didnât it?â he rubbed his nose with his index finger, grinning. Seeing the cast, he whistled.
âWell, now, looks like we donât need to stay the night, so weâre going to go right away,â he got up and stretched again. âLetâs walk to the station. Come on, Juushimatsu.âÂ
And so they didâŚ.although, by the time they had reached it had already become rush hour. Crowds of people started heading in and out of the trains, making it become a pain to go through.Â
âDammit, looks like weâll have to go through another way,â he said, feigning displeasure.Â
Jyushimatsu nodded, waving his good arm around. âYeah! But they took so long talking! Letâs go letâs go!â It seemed a little strange to not grab any change of clothes, but Jyushimatsu was perfectly fine without it! In fact, he would rather leave for Okinawa now! And perhaps Osomatsu was just like him, equally excited, for he said that they were leaving tonight! Jyushimatsu nodded his head so fast, the doctors were yelling in surprise about his head not flying off.Â
Jyushimatsu skipped after Osomatsu, laughing and giggling while running up to Osomatsu, then stopping to admire something, then repeating the action.Â
When they got to the train, Jyushimatsu felt slightly disappointed. Aww, there were lots of people going Okinawa. There wasnât any where that wasnât full of people.Â
Osomatsu seemed really irritated. Jyushimatsu nodded, grinning. âItâs okay, Osomatsu-niisan! We can go another time! Or maybe we can find a secret secret path to get to Okinawa soon! One with less people! Neh neh Osomatsu-niisan! Is there such a thing?â Jyushimatsu laughed. What other way was there other by plane or train? He expected Osomatsu to turn back, as he usually did.
âItâs a shame we canât go this way,â he sighed.
The process was smooth. The nurses took Juushimatsu away for a while, tending to his wounds while Osomatsu sat outside the office, patiently waiting by the hallway.Â
By the pure chance of luck did he win jackpot on Pachinko almost three days ago. He didnât think heâd have to use it now, but the cost of a trip was more than a fortune he could afford. Somehow, heâd have to get the money to pay -
Wait a second, Osomatsu started to smirk to himself, eyes flashing a dangerous red. I can just make deals with people. Easy as that.Â
Coughing to himself right after, he shrugged. It wonât be easy, but heâll have to hide the fact Juushimatsuâs injured somehow from his brothers. Especially that damn second son.
Waiting for Juushimatsu to come out, he patiently started to text on his phone.
Jyushimatsu was poked and prodded, asked a million of questions, but he answered them the only way he knew: By making a lot of different faces, trying to lift the mood. The doctor seemed to have given up on him after a while, but Jyushimatsu caught traces of words, namely, âinhuman forceâ and âcanât be from something as small as a ball!â. He wondered if they were watching baseball. He had to practice harder then! Then he could throw balls that would make people think this way!Â
The doctors placed his arm in yet another cast. Once he was done, Jyushimatsu waltzed out of the office, rushing into the lobby for Osomatsu. Along the way he kept yelling Okinawa, earning a few glares and displeased looks from passer bys.Â
âOsomatsu-niisan! Iâm out! Letâs go Okinawa! And then we can eat! Look at my arm! Itâs like a bat now! I can hit baseballs with it! Neh neh Osomatsu-niisan when do we leave for Okinawa when when when?!â
Come on, Juushimatsu.âÂ

âDammit, looks like weâll have to go through another way,â he said, feigning displeasure.Â
âNoooope,â Osomatsu drawled, shrugging. âWe donât need that sort of thing! Just us men. The two of us, only.âÂ
He put a hand on Juushimatsuâs shoulder and raised his eyelids to half level. âBut you arenât going to tell anyone, okay. Not even Ichimatsu. This is going to be between the two of us, alright?â His voice was sweet, almost dangerously sweet - and just a bit, his grin was sinister.Â
Letting go, he stretched out his arms. âNow, letâs go. The hospital is just around the corner. After that, weâre going to Okinawa.â
Jyushimatsu was practically vibrating with excitement. Just the two of them? And he couldnât tell anyone? That was fine with him! He could do it! And if he told anyone else⌠wouldnât they want to come along with him? And that would mean Osomatsu would have to pay for everyone.Â
Jyushimatsu didnât have money to pay for six people! EhâŚ. His pupils widened a bit as he thought, before nodding rapidly. Osomatsu was really really close. He sounded really really nice⌠but his smile sent chills down Jyushimatsuâs spine.Â
Once his shoulder was released, Jyushimatsu started to sprint forward. Okinawa! Okinawa was waiting for him! He got to go Okinawa! That place that where Osomatsu went to! Whereâs the hospital, he gotta go!Â
Jyushimatsu turned a corner, rushing towards the hospital. âMuscle Muscle, Hustle Hustle! Okinawaaaaaa!â he yelled, running into the building.
The process was smooth. The nurses took Juushimatsu away for a while, tending to his wounds while Osomatsu sat outside the office, patiently waiting by the hallway.Â

He turned around. The sky was dimming, and started to hide behind the buildings that surrounding them, keeping the light minimal. Half his face was hidden by shadow, but the half that was visible allowed his trademark grin to be seen.
âRight now weâll go to the hospital and get your arm treated,â he explained bubbly as he started to walk towards Juushimatsu. His smile was never fazed each step, and his eyes were shut eerily. âBut after that you and oniichan will go on a small holiday. Just you and me, my treat!â
It was growing darker. Osomatsu was grinning away as he turned around. Jyushimatsu bounced a little harder. What was his brother planning? A treat? A pachinko? A secret?Â
Osomatsu explained that they would go to the hospital, and get his arm treated. Oh. Okay. How was that a secret? Jyushimatsu wondered for a moment, before realizing that Osomatsu was getting closer. Jyushimatsu squinted. Was Osomatsuâs eyes closed? That seemed⌠weird. But he thought nothing of it the moment Osomatsu spoke again.Â
A trip! Holiday! Yay! âOkinawa! Letâs go Okinawa! Yaaaay holiday! A treat a treat! Osomatsu-niisan thank you! Yaaaaay! We can play lots and lots and eat lots of food!â Jyushimatsu danced on the spot, being a little more careful with his arm, before wrapping his good arm around Osomatsu and snuggling into him.Â
âTrip trip! Letâs hurry! Letâs go! Do we need to get anything?âÂ
âNoooope,â Osomatsu drawled, shrugging. âWe donât need that sort of thing!
After that, weâre going to Okinawa.â
âCome on, hurry up, Juushimatsu,â the devil urged, âItâs going to be bad if we donât get that wound treated. Letâs go already.âÂ
He thought about his options for a moment. While Dr Dekapan proves to be able to fix a wound quicker, he was certain the old geezer would be smart enough to deduct something about his identity. That was something he didnât want to happen - killing him would be left as his last option, and that would raise too much suspicion.Â
On the other hand, an overnight stay at a hospital too would raise the otherâs concerns. That was something heâd like to avoid as well - particularly the second sonâs.Â
After a long silent stroll, with distance between them (Osomatsu was walking up the front, Juushimatsu tailing behind), he paused in his track. âJuushimatsu, can you keep a secret?â Osomatsu asked, back turned to his brother.
Jyushimatsu hurried after his brother, wondering why Osomatsu sounded so worried. For what? His arm was alright, it wasnât as if he hadnât broken it multiple times in the past.Â
They walked in silence, Jyushimatsu wondering what Osomatsu was thinking about. He looked as if he was contemplating something. Meanwhile, Jyushimatsu walked slightly behind him, cradling his arm, staring at the back of the red hoodie.Â
It was long and really quiet. So quiet that Jyushimatsu laughed to cover it up, at everything and anything. When Osomatsu stopped, Jyushimatsu stopped as well, tilting his head slightly.Â
âSecret? I can keep a secret! Like a game, right? I played a game like that with Karamatsu-niisan too! Play play! What is the secret?â he yelled out, bouncing on the spot. Another game? Would he get lollipops just like with Karamatsu? Oh, he hoped he did! Jyushimatsu wanted some sweets just about now! What great timing!
Just you and me, my treat!â
âThatâs true, you hit the ball,â he shurgged, âI guess it could be a pass for now.âÂ
Once Juushimatsu raised his arm and winced in pain, while he wanted to laugh, the hue of pain seemed to increase in his chest. Why was he feeling this way? Shrugging away the negativity, he clicked his teeth. Donât feel stupid things, Osomatsu, he thought internally, averting his eyes for a moment. These boys are nothing but tools to entertain you - tools that you apparently need to protect.
He started to feel eyes on him as he turned around and saw another pair eying them closely; a father and a son. They both had traces of concern on their features, making the devil feel repulsed at the glance. Irritating.
âDonât be ridiculous, Juushimatsu,â Osomatsu said, voice slightly aggressive. âCâmon, itâs broken. We need to get you to the hospital or Dr. Dekapan.âÂ
Osomatsu agreed he hit the ball! Jyushimatsu brightened up immediately, smiling wider and blushing a bit. Yay! A pass! He did it! Jyushimatsu blinked when Osomatsu averted his eyes.Â
âSomething wrong, Osomatsu-niisan?âÂ
He turned to the side, following Osomatsuâs gaze, and saw a father and son. Jyushimatsu raised his other hand and waved wildly. âHello! We are playing baseball! Nice to meet you too! Letâs play! Play play play! Baseball baseball!âÂ
Osomatsu suddenly spoke, forcing Jyushimatsu to look back at his eldest brother. He looked really scary. Kinda like really mad. Jyushimatsu fell silent for a moment, then getting up.Â
âOkay, Osomatsu-niisan. Letâs go!âÂ
He turned to face the strangers, waving again.Â
âBye bye! Letâs play again another day! Muscle Muscle, Hustle Hustle!âÂ
âCome on, hurry up, Juushimatsu,â the devil urged, âItâs going to be bad if we donât get that wound treated. Letâs go already.âÂ
He thought about his options for a moment. While Dr Dekapan proves to be able to fix a wound quicker, he was certain the old geezer would be smart enough to deduct something about his identity. Another crack.
When he heard the crack, he suppressed the urge to sigh in satisfaction. It sure hit the spot he aimed accurately. At least now he knows he still has his precision and aim still perfect; he was worried heâd become rusty after moving into this world.
Although, once the younger brother slipped onto the ground, there was a twinge of pain that reverberated across his chest. He flinched a bit, a genuine worried frown filling his expression when he saw a glimpse of the arm swelling.
âA-ah, Juushimatsu,â he started, his voice breaking just a bit at his name. Which was stupid, since he shouldnât be feeling things like guilt. âIâm sorry. Hold on, stay right there.â
While he approached the younger, the ball going ignored, he had an intention in mind. His plot consisted of furthening the wound by squeezing it, dislodging the bone completely, however⌠another portion of him was telling him to just simply massage it lightly, hoping to ease the pain just a bit.
âLet me see that.â Â
Jyushimatsuâs grip on his arm tightened slightly,Â
Slight anger flared up, before curling back down, dormant and quiet. Something was nagging at Jyushimatsu from behind, but he just didnât know what. He winced as his grip tightened a little too tight, and gently released it.Â
âAh? Osomatsu-niisan, itâs okay! Iâm alright! Letâs keep going! But i hit the ball! Did you see it! I didnât disappoint you! Iâm good at baseball! Muscle Muscle, Hustle H-â Jyushimatsu attempted to raise his arms in an attempt to do his catchphrase, but the pain made him stop suddenly and drop his arm back down. Ah⌠it hurt a lot.Â
Osomatsu came over, telling him to show him his wound. Jyushimatsu stared at him, blinking, before slowly raising his arm to Osomatsu. âItâs okay, really, Osomatsu-niisan! Nothing to worry about!â
âThatâs true, you hit the ball,â he shurgged, âI guess it could be a pass for now.âÂ

The sight of the red slowly increasing along the fabric of Juushimatsuâs sleeve made the corners of his lips twitch upwards, a smirk threatening to form. But he needed restraint; he needs some patience. It would be much more enjoyable to watch the whole process of his smile falling.
Making no effort to stop the bleeding aside from a rather forceful shove of Juushimatsuâs head to tilt upwards, Osomatsu walked a bit further to find the ball.
âOh, really? Alright, Iâll do it again. Make sure you prove me wrong, Juushimatsu, otherwise Iâll be pretty disappointed in believing you were good,â he chose his words carefully, wiping the blood from the ball with his jacket, âBatttter up! In one, twoâŚ.âÂ
And he threw, with the same speed as the first - maybe even faster. This time he aimed for his arm.
A forceful shove of his head to tilt upwards, but it did nothing to stop the bleeding, though it stopped slightly. Jyushimatsu readjusted his head, pushing himself to stand up as Osomatsu picked up the ball. Again? Already? Jyushimatsu grabbed his bat from the floor. Osomatsu seemed a little happy? At least, that was the vibe he was getting from the red brother. Jyushimatsu got ready to hit the ball, twitching when Osomatsu spoke.Â
Ah.Â
He was the best at baseball! He had to be able to do it! He would be able to do it! Jyushimatsu told himself as such, as he readied his bat again. As Osomatsu counted down, Jyushimatsu focused on the ball in Osomatsuâs hand.
It came flying. Jyushimatsu swung, then realized, that Osomatsu had aimed the ball wrong.Â
It wasnât supposed to go towards the arm, right?Â
The ball rammed into his arm, and Jyushimatsu heard a faint crack. The ball flew off into another direction, but Jyushimatsu didnât move. His bat fell to the floor with a thud, then Jyushimatsu dropping to his knees and clutching his left arm. Tears was starting to form around his eyes, but he kept smiling all the way.Â
âAhaha⌠Osomatsu-niisan! The ball flew! It flew! I hit it!â he looked up at his brother for approval, his eyes shining with tears.
Though not with his bat⌠at what cost?
Another crack.
When he heard the crack, he suppressed the urge to sigh in satisfaction. It sure hit the spot he aimed accurately. At least now he knows he still has his precision and aim still perfect; he was worried heâd become rusty after moving into this world.
Although, once the younger brother slipped onto the ground, there was a twinge of pain that reverberated across his chest. He flinched a bit, a genuine worried frown filling his expression when he saw a glimpse of the arm swelling.

âLet me see that.â Â
Crack. His ears twitched delightfully at the sound. It was contenting.Â
When Juushimatsu fell, he let his eyes gleam a stark red for a moment, bursting into laughter with his fangs bared into the open. Immediately though, he shut his mouth and coughed, mimicking a gentle smile on his features while he approached his younger brother.Â
With the blood dripping like a river down his nose, Osomatsu resisted the urge to snicker. Now this was a sight he liked to see. Although, he did feel slightly irritated at how the younger managed to maintain such an optimistic exterior. Truly too pure for his liking.Â
âOi, oi, oi, your nose is dripping, you shouldâve been quicker to hit or to dodge,â he laced his words with fabricated concern, âI thought you were better than this, Juushimatsu! Iâm disappointed.âÂ
Jyushimatsu sat up, rubbing his nose. His yellow sleeves steadily grew red as he rubbed, harder and harder. Oh⌠it wasnât stopping. It kept going and going and going. Jyushimatsu pressed his sleeves to his nose, then looked up at Osomatsu. Disappointed?Â
Oh.
He looked back down at his bat next to him. Disappointed. Osomatsu-niisan was disappointed in him. So he could do better? Jyushimatsu looked back at Osomatsu, his smile appearing slightly smaller.Â
âIt was really fast! I didnât think! So I couldnât dodge! But Iâll get better! Somehow! I will do it! And then Iâll take those balls and make them fly even further than today! Thatâs what Iâll do!â he cheered, raising one bloodstained sleeve up above his head, waving it about.Â
âIt isnât stopping! Itâs gushing like a river!â he whimpered slightly, trying to plug his nose. It hurt! But it was getting better. Now if the blood would stop.Â
âOsomatsu-niisan! Wait for me and Iâll stop this and we can do it again! Fast ball fast ball! Where did you learn how to pitch like that?â
The sight of the red slowly increasing along the fabric of Juushimatsuâs sleeve made the corners of his lips twitch upwards, a smirk threatening to form. But he needed restraint; he needs some patience. It would be much more enjoyable to watch the whole process of his smile falling.

âOh, really? Alright, Iâll do it again. Make sure you prove me wrong, Juushimatsu, otherwise Iâll be pretty disappointed in believing you were good,â he chose his words carefully, wiping the blood from the ball with his jacket, âBatttter up! In one, two....âÂ
And he threw, with the same speed as the first - maybe even faster. This time he aimed for his arm.
