Slipping Through My Fingers - Krusie Deltarune AMV
(For the record, Agnetha Fältskog is NOT my Kris voice claim. However, it would be funny if they were just able to sing like that the entire time)
My gentle heart beats for you
https://archiveofourown.org/works/86949596
𝅘𝅥𝅮I'm sprawled out in the rain My energy is drained And anxiety comes through To tell me that my fear is true It's roaring at my back The pain of everything I lack But I don't think it's true I'll trust that you can love me too𝅘𝅥𝅮
Susie needs somewhere to stay. Just not there. Or there. This takes place after chapter 4, so I had to post this before chapter 5 comes out and Toby Fox reveals that it's been canon the entire time
Yes I'm a libertarian. Yes I have a long list of people I want the government to persecute. We exist.
So, Elon Musk is pretty unambiguously the worst poster of all time. By pretty much any metric (quality, originality, societal impact) he blows every competitor out of the water. And that's not even taking into account volume - he has over 100,000 tweets, and I don't think there's a single one I'd be sad to see go.
He can't claim to be a good poster, terrible person like Trump or the (late) Ayatollah. God knows he isn't doing it for the money. He's just incapable of coming up with anything that another person would enjoy.
That's interesting and all, but the part that really warms my heart? Elon Musk is EXACTLY the type of person to care deeply about this. He could never be so far up there if he wasn't always, desperately, trying to be funny.

From what I've learned of literary criticism so far, there seems to be one cardinal rule: the less text you analyse, the more haute culture your analysis is.
Doing an analysis of a whole book? Boring. Pedestrian. Been done before. Doing an analysis of a single passage in a book? Now you're getting somewhere. This is undergrad level stuff. Doing an analysis of a single sentence in a book? Just take the Ph.D. already?
You would think this relationship might invert somewhere, but it actually doesn't. The most sophisticated possible analysis is an essay on a single letter that's probably not even supposed to be there.
One thing that bothers me about Fahrenheit/Celsius debates is people saying that °F "rates the human temperature experience from 0-100." Almost noone in the world actually lives somewhere where it varies from 0 to 100 Fahrenheit. In my home city, Montréal, temperatures vary from -13 to 92. Even in the most important city in the world, Paris, varies between 23 and 100. There's only one way to solve this conundrum: every city in the world should use its own temperature range, where 0 is the average yearly minimum and 100 the average yearly maximum.
And yes, it WILL change every year

The phrase "normal person: hey how's it going" and XKCD 2071 have come to occupy too dominant of a place within our discourse. I get that you may not be familiar with a topic or think it warrants your attention, but surely you can think of something more interesting to say than "I don't know or care about this (and that makes me a better person)". To counter this, I believe we need an equal and opposite XKCD. I propose XKCD 774: Atheists:
as a bonus, it comes with a built-in caveat to stop infinite loops.
There's a new DE quote bot making the rounds and I am HOWLING at the idea of someone getting queerbaited into playing Disco Elysium because they thought it was yaoi copaganda
Internet discourse about geopolitics would be at least 20% better if people realised that IR is completely, 100% amoral*. Yes, even your blorbo country.
"Why did Cuba condemn this but stay silent when Ukraine was invaded?" because Russia is an ally and the United States is their enemy.
"Why is the US telling the democratically elected leader of Venezuela to get bent?" Because Rodríguez serves their interests better.
If you believe that foreign affairs ministries care one iota about democracy, freedom, or human rights beyond what is in their self-interest, you are a mark upon marks.
Heartbreaking: You've just caught up to a weekly webcomic and it's not even close to halfway done
This video is like. The opposite of clickbait. I see this one image and immediately feel like I know so, so much about this man. Spiritually nourishing thumbnail

Kris as Eliza Hamilton. Why not
>"i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millenial complaint?" >looks inside >boomer complaint
this is the exact same impulse as people saying "Heh...guess I triggered some libs with this!". People being mad at you does not mean your opinion is correct. In fact, usually the opposite is true! Find the part of you that gains joy from making people angry and kill it with hammers
