now, i’m not a psychology or even really a STEM person—i’m a history major and a writer—so this isn’t the most professional or best constructed research form you’ll ever see, so please don’t come at me with complaints about improper surveying or something. i did my best, and this is informal information gathering. and it’s more than we currently have which is nothing.

the form is a little lengthy but has a lot of interesting questions i’d like to gather perspectives/data on. that said, i did make some of the short answer questions optional. i did it myself to time it out, and it’ll probably take you 10-15 minutes to answer every question. like i said, it’s super interesting stuff that i haven’t found any sort of research/data on, so please answer all the questions if you can!

can i fill out this form? this form is intended for transgender individuals over the age of 18 who engage in detransition/misgendering kink. trans men/mascs, trans women/fems, nonbinary folks, and anyone else who identifies as trans (and meets the other requirements) are all welcome to submit a response! i know some cis people engage in this kink, but i’d like to limit this to trans perspectives. a lot of the questions were also written with more of a submissive perspective in mind, but i filled it out as a dom in this kink and had no trouble!

what will happen to my response? nothing, mostly. i’ll be the only one to see any responses, and any findings posted will be 100% anonymous and aggregated. your email will not be collected. i only ask your name to help me keep the responses straight when i start looking at data, and you’re welcome to give a nickname. there is a question at the end asking if i can use anonymized quotes from your short answers in a findings write up if applicable, but it’s also 100% optional.

i have almost 20 responses, which is definitely enough to compile some sort of findings post. i’m definitely already seeing some trends and interesting stuff, and i didn’t even go through the actual short answers. i just looked at the multiple choice ones that google forms automatically makes a pie chart for.

at some point, i’ll probably close the form. at that point, i’ll start sifting through. i’ll let it go for a little longer though, just to see if i can get a few more responses. i’ve been checking everyday and i’ll close it when the response number plautus or when i hit a number of responses that starts to feel unmanageable, whichever comes first. and i’ll let you know when i do that :)

so here’s the question. if i made a google form with some questions for people who participate in detrans kink (like what i said above: why you do, how it affects you, etc), would anyone actually respond?
