The book Lucy is writing turns out to somehow be the book Zeref turned into the book of E.N.D, aka. Natsu. It went through Eclipse gate and Zeref found it and decided that that is the book he will use to bring Natsu back to life.

Natsu likes to create intricate carved art, but more often than not becomes too impatient and ends up breaking what he is carving on, the few pieces he has finished are depictions of his friends. His personal favorite is the one he made of Lucy.

At the end of Natsu's dream he saw END core and start transforming into END, right before he completely transformed he was pulled back into light by Happy, Lucy and Igneel's soul
