"I-is that you Nat? what are you doing outside here? you can catch some cold" Finn release his jacket and give it to Nat when suddenly he realized that Nat is crying "what’s happened? why are you crying?" He feel a little bit curious and feel pity
She stared at him for a moment, considering what she should do. There was no way to explain to him all of what she was feeling, but just having someone there for her right now seemed nice. She just didn’t want to keep worrying him. The temptation of coffee, however, was outweighing everything. “…Yeah…that sounds like a good idea.” She stood, still holding his jacket close to her body as they headed down the street, a fast pace to get out of the rain as fast as they could.
Although Finn is very curious what really happened to Nat that makes her crying and wanted to help her solve it, he remain silent, don’t want to force anything that possibly turn the situation worse or getting awkward. However, it still bothering his mind. As they running into the coffee shop, Finn lost his concentration and doesn’t realized that the road is slippery because of rain. He slipped away and fell down, “D-dammit” his clothes now covered by mud, but then he look at Nat fast ” I’m okay, don’t worry!” he yelled a little even before Nat asking him
They were moving at a such a pace, she should’ve seen that coming. But still his fall surprised her. Nat doubled back, kneeling down beside him. “Ah, Finn…You have to be more careful!” She started to wipe off his clothes, only getting herself muddy as she tried to help.
"Oh great, now we’re all dirty because of this mud, haha" he said that when he tried to get up "well, I wonder if the coffee shop owner would still give us permission to enter the shop with this condition" he stood up and looking at Nat with a guilty face "Sorry Nat, all I want to do is to cheer you up but it turns out I give you more trouble"
"Oh, I hope the owner would have some mercy on us mud-folk." She giggled lightly, the smile starting to return to her face. Though he didn’t mean to, he actually was helping her feel better. She wiped at the side of his face, a glop of mud falling off. "Oh don’t be sorry. You’ve put a smile to my face already. I think you’re doing a good job at the whole cheering up thing."
"or at least, let us enjoy the coffee although we can't enter the shop, well, at the terrace would be fine, haha" Finn cleaning his face from mud with water he gathered from the rain. His cheek turned pink as he hear what Nat was said and smiling widely "i-is it? glad to hear that, it lighten me a bit, thanks Nat"
