❝ーAlways, huh.❞ How awful. It made the small shark’s chest hurt, even more so knowing that it was incurable.It wasn’t fatal, but being in pain like that all the time was probably just as bad. 

She gave the other a small nod. It was the only thing she felt she could do at this point, and even knowing that made her sick. Made her feel useless. 

Yume took her time, a moment cracking joints from her fingers; as though the act itself relieved any pain. It didn't. Regardless the shark had a point. There was little she could do for herself here out in the open... not to mention the threat to her life still existed in other means. 

"I can get home myself... you should go." The instruction given wasn't intended to show ungratefulness. No, infact, she was very grateful for Rei's company alone. It was this constant endangering of others, just by associating with a rogue like her. Putting her in danger wasn't something she wanted.
