An Incubus with Manners

For some reason, and I feel like it’s my fault (don’t take pity on that) because now that I’ve posted the new activity levels for the RPG, people have literally just been like, down? The IC and OOC chats have not been as lively and active as they once were in the beginning and from what I can see characters aren’t interacting with each other as much as they should (mine included)

Little under half the characters are on hiatus (which I can understand given the new activity + the problems some of the muns are going through), and the rest either stick to only one or two people or they aren’t usually on at all

don’t think i dont see people bait posting, or whatever its called, to save their roles when it gets close to time

i have to remind people to update their characters so they dont get reopened even though they should know better

and i have tried over the past two days to get people in the IC to do things but it just isnt happening

one of the suggestions i received was that we reopen characters we dont use, but when you think about it, that’s half the goddamn rpg

that means Ryan, Geoff, Anthony, Ray, Arryn, Michael, Lindsay, Isis, Ze, Max, Joel, Kevin and Gavin would all have to be reopened since (again, from what ive seen, i have no idea, i dont know what goes on) Michael’s on a queue-only basis (felix is too but stuff is oing on there) geoff and anthony are on hiatus, i barely do stuff with lindsay with sucks, isis only does stuff with anthony from what ive seen, max doesnt get anyone, stevie’s only really here because of the baby, rays only here for seamus, gavins only here because of mira, and ryans only here so that no one else can take the position since ryan is also a mod (or so it seems, which i know this paragraph in particular will piss people off and i am sorry)

and if we dont get our shit together, this rpg is going to close because i dotn know what else to do

i dont know what to do to boost morale in this rpg

i dont know waht to do to motivate people to want to plot with other cahracters

i dont know what to do to get peopl to post in the ic

because i understand that people lead busy lives and have stuff going on at home and people are juggling a handful of characters but i just

i truly dont know what to do

i was given more suggestions like forcefully dropping pepole’s characters even if they’re on hiatus but you guys know im too fucking nice and anxiety-ridden to do that ebcause i dont want any of you mad at me

and i contribute to this, so even i dont get off from this

gavin barely talks to anyone and ryan literally only ~edits~ in the ic anymore, he has nothing to do since geoff isnt around and ive given up on theo and mira t this point

i just dont know what to do and im scared likei know that even if the rpg closes i will keep the ooc chat so everyone can talk but theres no point if the rpg closes bc then people will probably just move on

but i dont know???? it just seems like the best idea even thoug hits like 1 am and im an emotional mess because i feel like ive failed you guys hella hard in keeping this rpg active
