disease is a very attractive word capable of being silly, casual and/or serious depending on the context its used. Its attractive because it doesnt sound too professional to be out of place yet not too soft or ridiculous that it would sound strange in a long monologue about hating humanity. Its sharp enough to hold a big impact but not too sharp to the point of ruining a more light hearted delivery
