"Are you kidding me?" Christian screeches. He peers at the hole where the knob used to be and groans. "Dude! You couldn't wait another minute?"

"Hey, it's not me standing all buck nude in front of the mirror doing god knows what," Edge retorts. He squints at his best friend. "Were you jerking off?"

"Even if I were, which I wasn't, I'm hardly in the mood now for that," Christian shoots back, irritated. "Man, sometimes I really hate you and your fat ass."

"You're just jealous you've never grown an ass." Edge makes himself comfortable sitting on the toilet with its lid down and towels his hair. "Hey, you might as well finish your shower. I'll see if I can break down the door."

"Dude, we'll get in trouble for that! And we're already on thin ice with the big man for that stunt we pulled."

Even as he's grumbling, Christian heads back into the shower with conditioner in hand. He likes having long hair for wrestling, but caring for it is a pain in the neck. He'll cut it short when time comes. Right now it's nice to match with Edge. Besides, his best friend is great at blowing his hair dry and gives great head massages to boot.

Edge dumps his damp towel on the toilet seat cover and squats down to examine the lock. The wood is already splintered and the door slightly dented.

Christian is applying conditioner to his hair when his gaze is caught by Edge's butt. It's not meaty or big like Rikishi's truly substantial ass, but for a tall guy, Edge has a pretty nice one. Christian stares, mesmerized by the play of strong muscles and smooth skin as Edge shifts his weight to his left. It's not all tanned skin, though; there's a clear line delineating the brown skin above the hip and the milk-white skin below.

"Hey," Edge says.

Christian almost fumbles the bottle of conditioner. "What?"

"We may be stuck till morning when it's time to check out." Edge stands and puts his hands on his hips, filling up half the tiny bathroom by merely existing. He turns around and narrows his eyes at Christian. "You okay? You're just standing there."

"What? Uh, yeah. I was listening to you is all." Christian hastily puts the bottle on the floor and turns the water on. "Jesus! Water's gone cold fast."

"You're such a wimp," Edge laughs. He stands and gets into the shower with Christian, wincing a little until the water heats up again. "Stop scrubbing with your fingers, for chrissakes. That's how you get tangles."

Christian slowly lowers his hands as Edge proceeds to help wash his hair, gently combing it out with his fingers. Then, once he's sure the conditioner is rinsed out, he turns Christian around to face him and starts massaging his strong fingertips into Christian's scalp.

"Ngggh. Feels nice," Christian mutters, his eyes closed and a small smile on his lips.

"Yeah? That's cuz you're still relaxed from the hot water." Suddenly, Edge realizes he can't tear his gaze away from his friend's lips. They look soft. He really wants to know how soft they are.

That's stupid, he thinks, feeling heat creep up his neck. He's my best friend, for chrissakes.

But the mouth is so pink and wet from the shower...

Edge stops resisting. He leans in and kisses Christian.

"Jesus H Christ!" Christian jolts like he's been electrocuted. It unbalances him and his arms flail about for a second before he slips forward and crashes into Edge, who staggers back a step to land against the wall, and while one of his hands grab his friend's shoulder, the other lands on Edge's ass.

So that's how it feels like, Christian marvels. And then he looks up at Edge, and suddenly he lets go.

"Um."

"Uh. Yeah."

"Bet there's someone on the other side of this wall." Edge pounds on the wall with his fist.

Christian grins awkwardly. "I'd put a towel on before I start asking for help. Don't wanna give them the wrong impression, you know."
