I'm working my way through the midpoint of episode 16 (yes that is how far behind I am), and this entire conversation is so funny. Everyone is constantly reaffirming how they mean no disrespect, that they completely understand the others' position even when they disagree with it, not a single insult is flung or voice raised. Meanwhile the actual topics of conversation are "I don’t trust you. I don’t trust anyone. I'm prepared for you to turn on me and everything I care for. I will murder your family. I value my family/faith/revenge/survival more than your life. If you get in my way or lie to me I will kill you." Most carefully conducted arguement in history of dnd because if anyone loses it even slightly they WILL start killing each other. Anyway argument over let's all head into eternal night together where we'll have to rely on each other completely to survive!
