This was a party for my teachers from West University Elementary in June 1996 at my friend Halley Turner’s house.

I’m in the back row at the end on the right. I had to the chicken pox the week before the picture was taken and I was out from school for a whole week. I broke out at my late grandmother’s house one horrible Friday night and my mom was contacted. So my dad had to go pick me up and I had to lay down on the couch when I got home until my mom had one look at me and said that I had the chicken pox.
