Out of curiosity, what was your favorite duty station and why?

My first command in sasebo Japan. Really exposed me to the grit that is the forward deployed navy. It got me used to being out to sea and the people I met and became family with are like no others.

What’s your favorite type of ship?

Very tough question, my first two ships were LHDs and my most recent was a CVN. So part of me is baias however there is just something about destroyers that just screams at me. They're sleek and fast and lets be real they look mean as all hell. So yes Destroyers, more specifically Ashleigh Burke class destroyers.
