On this day last year, after several days of constant rain and cold, the sun came out for a bit of relief to the refugees in #Presevo, #Serbia. Many shared their unforgettable stories while waiting in line. One story in particular that I think about almost daily is of a young man whose brother had disappeared 3 years prior during a protest. In order to leave Syria, he said he had to give up hope that he would see his brother again and he missed that feeling - the feeling of hope. If memory serves correctly, the brother was only 20 years old at the time he was taken.
