Still getting the hang of painting in a style I like, but anyway! A photo (stuffed in a text book and recovered later on) from the last time the Ravenswood(-Karlsson) clan was in one place. From left to right: Hugo (brother-in-law), Alicia (older sister), Beverly (mother), Charlie (father), Zach (himself). Taken the summer before Zach “moved” (quit school and ran off) to California.

(side note: cynocephali don’t grow “hair”, Alicia has extensions, which are rather faddish with the younger gen).

So... I have so many things to ask you in regards to your webcomic, but mostly: it is now March, can we expect any updates, and WHY DID YOU DELETE THE DEFUNCT ARCHIVE

we’re actually going to start updating again this friday (with 7 pages, i think), and will hopefully be more regular from here on out. the year started off super rocky and busy (parents visiting, other commitments, and general political depression) and it got harder to work around our jobs!! we’re still 100% committed to continuing the story, and we should have at leeeasst posted an update.

as to the archive, we deleted it because we didn’t want anyone who hadn’t already read it to “read ahead”, and spoil themselves for future plot points. we really want to present the story in a certain way (thus the ~reboot~), and don’t want jumbled plots hangin’ around. i get that that’s frustrating when we’re not updating tho!!

idk i hope that makes sense!! honestly, thanks for caring!

Augh, I only found out about spooky comics after you guys relaunched, and I feel like i've missed out on so much (Like, basically any character that isn't Bea or Zach). Are there bios/back issues or something I can read to catch up?

Hey!! This is definitely a weird situation we’ve put everyone in, but I promise you’re not missing out on anything especially important-- most of the old strips will be posted as they are reintegrated into the story (in a more natural way, haha).

We had all the other strips up on this blog, but we’d rather new readers not read too far ahead and “spoil” themselves :^)
