Black Lives Matter does not mean that ONLY Black lives matter. It means that Black lives matter ALSO (as everyone’s SHOULD). The fact that this movement was created is to protest the way Black people have been treated unfairly for centuries. BLM means that Black people are also worthy of walking outside of their home and not have to worry about being detained by police just because of the color of their skin. It means that Black people shouldn’t fear getting killed by police solely because they are Black. 

I have a nice quiet life, I’m a married woman, I have a gorgeous son, I finally got my husky. We live in a cozy little house, with a yard. I’m a poet and I love what I do. 

I feel like this is sort of an ending to this tumultuous blog I had going on with so many expressions of what I thought I was (and still believe I am). Today is the 10 year anniversary of my blog and I wanted to say that I’ve grown, in many ways.
