semi-hiatus !!

blair took the clothes immediately stripping from her wet clothes to put on his dry ones. as soon as the fabric touched her skin she was overwhelmed with memories about cuddling him and wearing his clothes. “why? it’s true. i missed you and I made the wrong decision. i know i have no right to miss you, but i do. I’m not asking you to miss me either, because i get you don’t. I just want you to know that I miss you.”

he turned at her speech, swallowing hard. “i don’t care what you think --- you fucking took my heart and stomped all over it, and when i’m finally able to even just try and get over you, you show up on my doorstep in the pouring rain telling me you miss me,” he said, voice shaking as he tried to stop the emotion from flowing into his words. seeing her in his clothes made his heart ache, and he looked away.

trent lets out a soft chuckle when charlotte says she’s getting the special treatment although it was true. he didn’t let people into his dressing room that often, since he was away so much he kind of saw them as his own room even thought it looked different at each venue. it was a space he kept private and quiet, the only way someone could get an invite was if you were one of his bandmates or he really liked you. as she settles next to him he tenses up a little even though he was the one invited her to sit so close, but he was just so anxious actually being alone with her. his laughter comes out nervous at her response not sure if it was appropriate, he was overly worried he was going to offend her in some way, “well uh, that’s too bad. i…i mean cameron was bummed you couldn’t be there.” he didn’t want to make it seem that he liked her because he didn’t want cameron mad at him, but he was pretty sure it was obvious, “whenever you’re here he always stashes you away, i never get to see you. you should come around more.” he commented lightly, though his suggestion was something he’d hoped she would agree to. 

charlotte feels the tall blonde tense up a little as she sits beside him, and she tries to not think much of it, but she can’t help but wonder if she’s a bother to the boy. maybe he’d invited her in because she looked pitiful, wandering around looking for cameron like a lost lap dog. the thought made her straighten her back a little, not wanting to think too much of it. she shook her head at his words with a scoff. “oh please, trent. we both know he had plenty of girls to choose from over there,” she speaks realistically. not that she cared what he did --- she did her fair share of hooking up as well. she grins at his suggestion. “to be honest, i didn’t think you liked me much, you’re always so quiet when i’m around. i know i’m a bit much, but i’m glad you still want to hang out,” charlotte explains brightly. it was a nice feeling to know that trent wanted to see more of her. she could certainly use a few more friends.

   she takes a breath and then takes a step, moving closer to him, so that if he wants her to go she can. though something is telling winnie that he’s not going to send her away. ❛ well, seems like my surprise didn’t go according to plan, then… ❜ she giggles softly because that’s a bit of an understatement. ❛ maybe i should just stick around for a little, see if he comes home ?? ❜ by the way she’s looking at him, her tongue peeking out to lick her lips and her head tilted, it’s clear that she’s suggesting doing something a little more than just ‘sticking around.’

he mirrors her body, stepping closer as well. “at least it surprised someone,” he jokes, scratching his neck. once she talks about sticking around, he knows he’s not crazy at the thought that maybe she was liking this situation as well. “i guess i should keep you company,” he starts, swallowing, a wicked grin tugging at his lips. “and i think we should make sure this surprise doesn’t go to waste,” he mutters, gently pulling her closer, hands on her hips.
