Art Box

You may use the art box to request artwork of a character associated with Sonic.exe, Sonicpastas, or Sonic Oddities.

If you wish to request for Sonic the Hedgehog related artwork, please go to my @spontaneous-erinaceous sideblog to do so!

Please note that requested artworks will only consist of doodles/scribbles. This decision was made so that I could get to everyone's requests without burning out. However, I request that asks remain appropriate and safe for work. I have the choice to ignore inappropriate asks, please be aware.

NOTE: Drawing suggestions taken from the Art Box will be responded to privately. This response will include the date and time of which the art post will be scheduled in order to let you know that I’ve finished the request.

Permissions

If I have drawn artwork of your characters and you wish to post them on character storage websites such as Toyhouse or Unvale, feel free to do so!

I'd imagine Azazel isn't too bothered by this, aha! Had a lot of fun drawing the outfit! I only knew of Kuromi through the My Melody & Kuromi series on Netflix. I wonder though, who in NU_Prime would dress up as Melody?

Pervision_Prime.. OOH, gosh! I struggled so much just trying to start the drawing! I think it helped to imagine him begrudgingly offering a bouquet of flowers (he might've gotten paid to do this). ...I also realized too late that I'd have to actually draw the flowers. I think they turned out good enough though!

Aw yeah, Lucien!

I'm a sucker for space-themed designs, and this just hits the spot. Really do love the concept of an EXE going down a darker path due to.. unforeseen circumstances.

Personally, I see eldritch horrors as a dark reflection of humanity. Do we fear the unknown? Or is it that we fear there is nothing worse than humanity itself-- which is why we imagine something else carrying that burden?

I'm just spitballing here, aha!

A whole month of art requests, whew!

It's a funny coincidence that both of the characters requested have their names starting with an X. I was so surprised, haha!

Xenthos belongs to wobbegongian! I love the ribbon-like texture within the flesh. It was kind of therapeutic to draw. The claws were also really fun to draw as well. I find this to be a cool design!

(By the way, apologies for not replying to your ask directly. I messed up a setting so I couldn't reply privately without posting it. I'm so sorry. 😓)

Xer0phanes, oh boy! It was a struggle to draw him. Still, I had a lot of fun sketching the pose! Though, I really need to figure out how to shade those crystals properly.

Kolossos.. Took one too many punches to the face, now someone's about to be erased!

Been a while since I've drawn Kolossos, so I'm happy to have an excuse to draw him again!

Oooh, Fang vs. Grimeware? I feel bad for what's about to happen next...

I don't really know how to create fight scenes (or how to do perspective) so the scene for Grimeware and Fang is very empty. It was pretty fun to try out though!

Did a bit of reading on this version of Unused's lore.. completely forgetting I had to draw him too! I was so invested that I ended up rereading the loreposts too. Whoops.

That's to say, I had a lot of fun with drawing and reading about Unused! Is it right of me to say he's a bit silly? Aha, he's so cool!

Ah, Sark_Prime! Now, before we go any further-- let me elaborate incase there is any confusion regarding who this character is.

Sark_Prime is a retake on Sark that does not include any of the controversial and/or unsavory aspects of mainline Sark. This is essentially a completely different take on the character in the same way 2011x is to JCX. So please, I don't want anyone to think that I am condoning anything related to mainline Sark. I do not condone the way mainline Sark's story was handled, nor the actions of the character itself. I feel it is necessary to clearly state who this character is and my stance on it, so that my intentions are not misconstrued. Thank you for reading this!

Phew, with that out of the way..

Definitely should take a listen to Habitual | Nightmare Universe Prime OST, if you haven't already! It's an FNF styled song that has some really good art. It also provides some insight on Sark_Prime’s characterization, so yeah!

Now, about my art. I’m, uh, not proud of this one. Ran out of time to make it look good (for my standards). Perhaps I’ll draw another piece to make up for this one!

I really need to actually start drawing doodles.. ya'll, I've been LYING! Seriously, I can't help but spend waay too much time on art requests.

The dilemma of loving to draw but I'm too slow at it-- aughhh!! I just want to give all the requests an equal amount of effort, but it isn’t possible like this! I already mentioned this before and yet I fell into the pit trap again.

I’ll figure something out, so don’t worry about that. Just know that I’m not going to be rendering art requests any time soon from this point on. 😅

Probably one of the only fully rendered pieces I'll have for a while. I don't know what possessed me to spend nearly three weeks on this (I barely spend more than 1-2 days on a singular piece now)!

The background of this illustration is the banner for this blog, with some edits to match the color scheme.

I'm still really proud of this one! I hope that I'll have the energy to make something else of this scale in the near future.

Whew, first art requests of the batch variety!

Decided to spend a bit more times on these, as there weren't that many requests in the inbox yet. Honestly, it was well worth the time!

I've been wanting to draw Azazel for a while now, so this was a great excuse to do so! I went back and watched some gameplay of Sonic.EXE: The Wrath on Mobius in order to get some inspiration. Genuinely such a cool game with an interesting antagonist.

I still don't understand how he doesn't have a speck of blood on his gloves though. That's the craziest part for me! /lighthearted

Friendshape belongs to sketchyreject! I absolutely adore the design, the geometric shapes were really fun to play with. Admittedly, I was first intimidated by the design.. because I hadn't practiced perspective in a while (I'm slacking with the fundamentals right now, aha). Hopefully this looks alright!

The colors were also really fun to shade. It's been too long since I've drawn more brightly colored characters.

A very amiable character design. Friendshaped indeed!
