Torgo's Executive Powder

Loads of people hated this album when it came out - many still do. Many laughed at this video. I'm not sure about Thom's dancing, but I find the track mesmerising.

March 2014 marks 40 years since Rush released their eponymously-titled first album. Here's a rocky non-(future)Rush-like track. Bits of it sound almost like Molly Hatchett or Lynyrd Skynyrd!

Not sure if this low beat cover of R.E.M.'s classic by Nina Persson adds much to the original, but give it a try and tell me what you think.

I finally got around to watching Charlie Brooker's documentary about video games recently. It was pretty good although I wasn't sure about his no. 1 choice! Anyway, the theme tune was this rather marvellous 8-bit tune from the Gameboy version of Robocop. 

Folk went nuts for Pharrell's recent hit 'Happy' but here's a Northern Soul classic by the same name.
