Nunh is from the old Miqo'te tongue and means father, which means that Nunh players are the dads who went out for milk and never returned.

Honestly though, the name suggestion generator at character creation being able to spit out Nunh just comes across as somewhat odd to me.

Nunhs have responsibilities, they should spend most of their time with the tribe, so full timer adventuring would usually not be in the cards.

That's why characters like K'rhid and X'rhun are Tias despite arguably being strong enough, they could probably challenge the Nunhs of their tribes. Settling down with the tribe would run counter to their nature, hence them remaining Tias.
