Look, Maika, I know you don't like the outcome of episode 13 of FVF, but I think I found a way to salvage it for my rewrite (if I do end up going with it by the time I get to FVF)
(this should probably get tagged as a disventure camp spoiler, the episode literally came out yesterday)
You remember in my mother's day oneshot "Lullaby From Mamma" how Fiore was worried about Ally (for anyone not aware, Ally is one of Fiore's adopted parents) because, y'know, Ally was still feeling the effects of being mauled by a bear and Fiore mentioned Ally getting flare ups ('cause, y'know, nerve damage)?
Well Ally's flare ups still happen quite a bit, and it even happens during the season, and it legitimately worries a lot of her teammates, especially Fiore. Hell, the flare ups worry some of the Fans too.
Anyways Fiore is worried. She doesn't usually feel worry for people, but Ally's her favorite parent, and we all know what happened at that one court case (if you know, you know), so it's not the first time Fiore has witnessed Ally suffering. And honestly she really doesn't want her favorite parent suffering so much for a damn reality show.
So Fiore, with a lot of puppy eyes and begging, manages to round up some people to vote Ally off.
And of course, Ally gets voted off. No animosity between either of the two, of course. They're mother and daughter, it's only natural that either worry for each other.
Anyways that's how I'd salvage that elimination, but even then, it's not concrete, and I'll probably just pick a different outcome. I just figured it'd be fun to dump this idea onto you specifically.
(It took me far too long to realize the beginning of this was a TADC reference)
Okay that’s actually super sweet of Fiore. In this idea, she’s refusing to let Ally put the game over her own health (again).
Poor Ally though. This just reminded me of how much she goes through in your AU 😭
No matter what you do, I trust that it’ll be good.
