So hanging around Corporation Rim space was a lot risky and even more stupid. An incalculable amount of things could go so wrong so fast my tactical processes would have trouble keeping pace. But I was hoping that would work in my favor. Who would expect a rogue unit to be staying where it was most likely to get caught? Actually, donβt answer that. I was going to find out sooner rather than later regardless.
I had slipped from one group of disembarking travelers to another, fully planning on getting a new set of clothes (you could never be too careful and the concept of shopping was still a novel one), when the message pinged into my semi-public channel.
I see you, SecUnit.
Not the most threatening message I had ever received, but by far the most ominous one.
