Skaianet^2 is announcing a new over-the-top fanventure in development, Virusbent Session Sburbstuck Omegabound, one of its central points being a heavy focus on flashes.

Coming from the creator of Con Air 2: The Epilogue, its ARG, and the final flash [S] Ollywood Showdown, VSSO will take place in the same continuum as that story and its less known sequel The Other Side. VSSO will feature an original cast of characters. It’s intended to be a story that has an intense plot and a good heart, but features satirical commentary of Homestuck, its current state, fan reactions and fan adventures in general. Also much more. The overall plot has been in works for well over a year, and now is fully complete. I know how the story goes from the beginning to the end. All that needs to be done are the pesterlogs, the art, and the flashes.

In its ideal state, VSSO would feature 15 major flashes, totaling in 50-70 minutes of animation. One of the main criticisms of the Ollywood flash was its awfully slow pacing, which of course would be fixed in these flashes. The pacing would be about Homestuck’s style at most times, but avoiding the biggest blink-and-you-miss-it moments. However, this ambitious goal comes with a drawback: I can’t make this happen by myself. Making Ollywood was taxing already, and at that time my schedule was much more open.

I’m reaching to the community to put together a flash team. Without a team this will be impossible. I’m making contributing as easy as possible: 1. Prioritizing production speed over art quality. 2. Full storyboards that make it easy for contributors to quickly pick any asset they want to make. My fan adventure SoulSplit has gone through a notable change, as two seemingly unrelated comics have been revealed to be part of its story.

First of them, A Chance Meeting, stars a troll named Avrora. In the short adventure she meets a stranger and is pestered about a weird comic by one of her acquaintances.

The second one is the weird comic itself, An Evvreyday Strugle. It tells about the life and adventures of a “journastylist” in a dark, abstract world that is the reality. Also it may serve some strange mysterious purpose beyond that.

SoulSplit itself is a little more than 100 pages into its first Act Act. Its third sound page, [S] Awake, is coming soon, after which it returns to more regular updates.
