Independent original character roleplay blog [ 21+ ] Evan Parker is a young man enrolled in the study of medicine, with dreams of becoming a specialist in pediatric emergency medicine. His father abandoned him before his birth, and he was brought up by his mother until she tragically died in a car accident at age four. Evan was then taken in by his maternal grandparents, who acted as the stabilizing influence in his life. His grandfather, unfortunately, died suddenly due to a heart attack while Evan was in high school, which caused much emotional distress and led to his serious anxiety problems, as well as stammering.
Living between university and his grandmother now, Evan is still struggling with his anxieties and the insecurities associated with the stammering problem. However, he is caring, smart, and still determined to become a doctor.

"I guess I was used to feeling helpless when things went wrong. Things happened when I was a kid, my mum, my grandad, I-I couldn't do anything, didn't understand. I-I suppose I wanted that to change, I wanted to be someone who could help others from feeling the same way, help them understand. H-help them." He smiles to himself, bringing up a hand to rub at the back of his neck. "I guess that sounds really cliche, doesn't it? But it's the truth. I just-I just don't want to feel like I can't do something to help. Even just a little, you know?"
