Hi kitten I had exactly this experience in high school and my first year out of high school and basically every year since. I've always felt like a loner. But I choose to cherish it rather than be ashamed of it. I'd rather do the things I like to do by myself than do stuff I'm not into just for the sake of being sociable. And I think there's a false expectation we all hold when it comes to friendships. You don't have to prove anything to anyone about how many friends you have. You just have to be proud of who you are. That's so important. Surround yourself with what you love. Things that give you energy and enthusiasm. Be good to yourself. x
