Life Goes On

If the shoe fits, might as well wear it.

I haven't written a real post on here in so long. But I'm on vacation and don't have anything remotely close to a journal with me, so here I am. Just some thoughts running through my head that I want to get down. I just feel like no one really knows me. Most of my friends think the whole gems and being spiritual and loving nature thing is such a farce. Not on me, but in general. That drives me nuts because that's really who I am. I am all about gems and how you can be drawn to them and how they can give you energy. I adore nature and everything about the outdoors. I could spend an entire day outside doing absolutely nothing and I would never get bored. The outdoors feeds my soul. It fills me with happiness. I just don't feel many of my friends can relate with me on that and so I just hold it in. I just want to explore every end of the world. I might not be the bravest person out there - the open ocean scares me, I can't jump into water without holding my nose, certain animals scare me (but I admire them from a distance), I always think of the worst (hey anxiety) - but I just love to explore. I love learning about the world and about history and just soaking it all in. I wish I had more friends like that. I hope to meet them in my future. I think it will happen. I just can't wait for when it does.
